Also, so people don't use it all the time, it locks you account for 100 hrs

    There is protection mode... You can buy it.

    Baldrick so true. GGS would not do that because if they did. People will stop buying protection. :)

    They already do have it. 2 months protection mode for 19,000 rubies. Vacation Mode issue solved.

    Now, if you (players like you elliotell333) don't buy rubies, it means you don't fund the game, so you deserve to go into ruins and be afforded no protection or safe treatment like those that do buy rubies and finance the operation.

    lol so you dont deserve to go into ruins? Nobody deserves that, and if you didnt knew all games recive money from only playing their games too.

    I think he/she meant that nobody deserves to go into ruins. But then if you're playing for free, all GGS ask is that you log on once in a while to keep your "free" account. I think that's a pretty good deal.

    The second sentence I believe points towards stating that games don't only make their money from players, but in the case of this game that is exactly what happens. How else could GGS make money with no advertising? Rubies are their only form of income Svetovna and that's a good thing. Although I'd quite happily sit through an advert for forest fires in Canada if it cost less to play the game.

    In most other games that have this funtion there is usually a dwell period for it to kick in, then a setable time frame that the account is locked out. There is a maximum of course so you drop out after say 21 days and are then open for attack as normal. You wouldn't be able to pop in and out to avoid attacks, its not a shield or protection, its an account lock down for vaction purposes. I think it's a great idea and shouldn't cost anything (vacations cost enough as it is)!
