    If player X sent in a support ticket reporting player Y with proof that the player had 2 accounts on the same world, they would expect a reply. Support would have to reply.

    If they replied with "we have banned Y", X would check and find that Y was still playing. X would then tell someone about this and then word would spread.

    If they replied with "we have not banned Y because Y gives us money", X would then tell someone about this and then word would spread.

    If they didn't reply, X would then tell someone about this and then word would spread.

    GGS do enforce their rules, and they had better keep on doing that. I have sent in a ticket reporting a player for swearing and being homophobic today. If they do not ban that player or give me a GOOD reason why the player should not be banned, then I am coming straight to this forum, making a new thread telling everyone what happened, talking to every single player I have any contact with and then quitting the game forever. So they had better enforce their rules.

    If GGS did not want the rule, then they would have altered it. "We ban any players with multiple accounts who have never bought rubies." Admitting it would actually mean that players wouldn't leave in disgust when word got out.

    I was the moderator in this forum but I quit because of various reasons, but I do still work for GGS in the godgame farmer forum.
    I can assure you that if you get undeniable proof that someone is multi accounting GGS will act on it but I do fear that some of the bans are pointless because if a player or players in a large strong alliance got banned no body would attack them for fear of being attacked back once the ban has been lifted and in some cases the ban is only couple of hours or even a couple of days.

    I believe that players caught multi accounting should be banned for 2 weeks, exiled from there alliance, Place on in game name and shame list so as everybody can raid there castles. If something like ths happened then that would be a hugh deterant for those who continue to multi account even thogh they have been caught time and time again. And as far as the damage that is cause to their castles, well only so much damage can be done and how many people have suffered that because a large alliance shared passwords so they could co-ordinate attacks on players that are strong and refuse to join the larger alliances or dare to attack the larger alliances.

    Many of the smaller alliance also share passwords so as they can defend from the large gang bang attacks of the large alliances.

    Behaviour breeds behaviour and if GGS is able to do something to stop the cheating and bullying by the larger alliances then they would not need updates like the capitals to create extra spending and wars because the smaller alliance would be able to grow and take on the larger alliances in fair way

    i am very familiar with networks and IT as well and this would not work because many members of one family may play this game ( i actually have this at my house) but if the IP is at one place and then soon after is at another country or far away place's IP then yes this would be great. I can personally tell that GGE/ GGS does nothing as far as IP racking. I have 4.. yes 4 members of my family in and out of this game from both pc's here at my house and i haven't heard a word about it after over 3 months. so i KNOW that GGS needs to pay attention to this more instead of adding stupid unfair updates and loads of " ruby- costing" events that are also exact same items that only cost resources and time normally. there's much greed in the update and events added in this game indeed!!

    that's unbelievable only a few hrs. it should be permanent or like first offense a 2 week period and then close monitoring and if it happens a 2nd time like a month. then the third is permanent removal!!

    Should I contact support because my brother and I both share the same computer, in the same world and one or both of us often gets suspended for five to ten minutes, which is quite annoying?

    BACK ON TOPIC:

    I think that the update will help to break up 'wing-wing' alliances because only one or two of them will benefit from a city which the other 'wings' will think unfair.

    Really, I just think that it will be a good challenge to have a go at, and if it is successful then maybe GGE will add more capital cities in the future for other alliances to fight over - I do think that it should only be one per alliance though because otherwise they will all be captured by alliances that can afford millions of resources and soldiers leaving nothing for the rest of us to fight over.

    Can armies in alliance castles attack single players? Or are these mega sized armies limited to smashing other mega sized armies?

    The update is due to take place tomorrow (04.09.12) between 8.30 and 11.30am. AS always there will be a short down time while the game is updated.

    The main motive of this update is to make players fight against each other which other, This is a war game but many don't fight, so this update will make many fight:)

    It's also a building game... That can be denied as much as you want but it is.

    I also don't like the word "war". Lots of players play the game to expand and build their castles in the best and fastest possible way. In the meantime they try to collect now and then some glory and some honor. But with respect to the other players. Never attack the same player more than 2 times a month for example. Understand that the attacked player can try to attack back and accept that. Also trying to look for their limits : who can they defeat, what tactics are possible to win from a (slightly) stronger player?
    But there is a group of players who thinks every attack needs to be punished with a counterattack of 20 players. The original attacker must be burned down completely! Lots of players look for the protection of a big alliance and behave without any respect. From the shelter of the strong alliance, they attack who they want, when they want as often as they want; but as soon as one of their targets tries to attack them back they want their complete alliance to take revenge... Well, those players maybe have lots of honor, but are they really that honorful players?
    It's just a game, so let the game be fun for everybody. No one deserves to be burned down because he is weak, or because he attacked you once (I don't talk about bullying).
    Wars between alliances are part of the game but also there should respect be part of it. I can understand both alliances want to check who is strongest, but if one surrenders the other should respect that and don't burn them further down...

    There is already so much aggression in our world, let's keep this game to a respectful competition.

    Well, just my opinion... Relation to this update? I think that the motivation of this update is wrong. It isn't designed to create competition (although it can be), it's made to create "war" and in my opinion war in a way that shouldn't be part of this game.

    Man, I was so happy when the I saw the news but now I am all heart broken, I really wanted to show my alliance what can I do by having one the capitals. I thought it was for any alliance who could donate the requirements, so I felt very happy as I am the only one who donates and buys rubies in my whole alliance(11 members). The reason I don't leave my alliance as I am in it since few days after I joined GGE. I really wish that GGS would reconsider and fix this update like waking someone from sleep, who is having nightmare.

    pointless in ukone then top 10 alliances al have a training allinace so the 2o citys have all ready gone my alliance which is in between 50 and 300 (get a lot of attacks so we get them back) have almost no chance fo getting one we have a lot of resouses in the alliance but not close enought to have 1,000,000 of each and does this include coins and rubies do wwe send through the cash box or through the city
    i think you should be able to have 2 barracks at the city so you can get them quicker and i hope the citys can not atatck 1 lonly person but the one lonly person can attack it the get the city if the citys can attack single people this game will see half the castles in ruins even though there lvl 30! or 40 but are not in a good enough alliance

    i think its just so people buy and spend more rubies well i i get another rubies thing i will more then likely not be spending it on the city!

    or even better if there would be only 1 capitals/server, so the strong alliances would kill each others for it and the smaller alliances could grow more peacefully

    Now that is an update i would love to see happen.
    you got my vote for just one capital :D

    that would definately keep the large alliances busy
