Donating rubies to the alliance.

Since I'm low on my threads made (I guess,) I'm going to ask a question about something in the game, that I have no exact answer about. Alright,

I recently invited someone to the alliance on my Int1 server. When he joined the alliance, he donated 3K of rubies in the alliance fund once he was in the alliance. I thought you can't be able to donate rubies 24 hours once you join an alliance.

    No, they changed it so you can now put rubies in, but you can't put resources in. Which is silly, but oh well.

    I guess it makes sense. Let's people spend more money on the game and is also probably a benefit to a lot of alliances who want to merge and need rubies for member numbers quickly.

    Then again.. is this not open to abusing the ruby welcome pack? That said.. god knows how many new accounts you'd need to improve much in an alliance.

    Well that does seem to be their goal in almost all events and aspects of the game, so it would make sense.

    It used to be 24 hours before you can donate anything at all, but I guess rubies are now an exception...

    Does this also apply to the no donating before you are a level 25 rule?

    I am pretty sure it does. Because that way, the low level players in alliances can upgrade their alliance.. But that is just my suspicion, so can't confirm.
