I think Goodgame have stooped to a new low with this one. Only making the specialist tools available to ruby players. Absoulutley discracefull.

Its to help ruby buyers use them instead of nomad tools. You should respect them that you can get them for free if you can earn some rubies.

    Hi daniel freed,

Given that everybody in the game can earn rubies for free then i really don't see what your problem with it is. Anyone that has rubies can buy the tools if they wish to do so, but noone is being forced to use them. I believe you'll find quite a few people who have been attacking the higher level camps without them.

    Regards,
    Ethan

Make them available for coins then too !!

I agree with the original poster, just a way to increase ruby sales

Whats wrong with that? Players buying rubies fund the development of the game. You can buy the tools without buying rubies.

There is nothing wrong in having ruby tools for the event. and why always this complaint of rubies? The ruby/ ruby tools are for players who are ready to spend real money and for the rest free/coin tools are there. and for non ruby players grind the towers for the rubies.

I dont see any real advantage with those tools, except it can be used only for the event. Even for ruby buyers, they will buy the tools if they only see any real advantage.

Check what the tools can do, increasing strength of soldiers is a big advantage.

It made me laugh when I saw it, I was wondering where the ruby option was.

Having these ruby tools are OK but since these tools are only available for this event, don't you think it would be best if it could go a little bit cheaper?

If it is a little cheaper, perhaps everyone could obtain them, even the non-ruby buyers.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having ruby tools to help people win a battle against nomad camps. There is a reason that these are not available in coins, because then nobody would spend the rubies therefore less money for GGS to continually update the game. These new tools are VERY expensive, 2-3 times regular ruby tools, but they are also the best tools the game has come up with.

THESE NOMAND CAMPS ARE THE WORST THING EVER. WHAT A JOKE. Because of it, I WILL NEVER EVER buy another ruby in this game. Good Job GGE - you just lost a loyal customer.

These camps are just a bunch of bull.

Waste of time i dont think GGS think about the update before bring it to the public
Just because it sounds interesting they introduce it and them put ruby into play when it is impossible to accomplish

huh, these anti-nomad tools are expensive and only for the nomad event...and where is the logic in that? Wouldn't players be far more likely to buy them if they were either cheaper or not limited to the event?

Speaking about tools. Can GGE at least increase the amount of tools and troops you can use when attacking each flank.

If they can put 1600 men on the flanks, we should be able to attack with maybe 350 men on each flank.

The tools are worthless, regular tools can easily beat up to level 50 camps. And why can you only use them against nodads???

Yes, my alliance king easily beat a level 80 Nomad with only about 300 losses, using some normal ruby tools (he has stock piles of tools though, so he isn't too bothered)

I think though, that maybe the prices are a little to steep for tools that can only be used on Nomads, and for only a small increase. I think a decrease of about 20 rubies for each of the tools would be fair.

I can see that this money has been well spent. We've had some great developments recently...

The torches and poison arrows raise melee and ranged attack power by 30% each tool, I'm not sure but it looks like you can stack them up, if you could attack other players with these tools I for one would quit.

The ruby tools are a great way for GGE to fund development for this game. The money to maintain and improve the game needs to come from somewhere!

That being said, it's more fun to try to take down the camps without the ruby tools. I'm going after the low and medium level camp with ladders and rams and combinations of commander equipment to good success so far. The highest level, however, is too much for my equipment. But that's fine with me, I have enough low and medium camps to go after to keep me busy.

And if I really want the rubies for the tools, I'll go for towers/fortresses in Everwinter.
