Thought people might like a place to talk about their favourite films, etc :)

for record mine is Avengers Assemble - ignoring the fact its quite funny and the action scenes are great, the 5 year build up with the 5 build up films is literally one of the biggest achievements in the film industry so far this century - creation of Marvel's "cinematic universe" even compared to when the first star wars trilogy was brought out, its that momentous! So yes, my geeky favourite is Avengers Assemble - anyone else got a fave film they want to mention? :)

    THE AVENGERS!!!!!!!
    Build up was great,
    movie was great,
    funny,
    action,
    almost perfect,
    secret end scene after credit :D

    theres a marve film every 6 months!

    so next one is oct/nov 2013 - Thor 2
    April/May 2014 - Captain America 2
    Oct/Nov 2014 - Guardians of the Galaxy (spin off, but explains prequel to baddie in avengers 2)
    April/May 2015 - Avengers 2

    then they start phase 3 as they call it!! Building up to Avengers 3 a few years later. Only one film confirmed date for this, Ant Man November 2015. But there will be another captain america, thor, iron man, etc.

    Also, AGENTS OF SHIELD tv series, starts next year - based after the events of Avengers :)

    I've seen so many good movies it's hard to tell. But the one that always pops into my head for this question is Avengers! I LOVE all Marvel movies, can't wait for more :) I've seen all of them. My fav marvel movies would have to be...
    1.) Avengers
    2.) Iron man movies
    3.) Thor movies

    ummm, Independence Day (purely because of Jeff Goldblum and the awesome destruction sequence with the White House being blown up!)

    I have many "favorites" but one that I think has held up really well is Blade Runner. I love the moody cyberpunk-film noir vision of the future and you can't help but root for the doomed replicants.

    Comedy, Dodgeball, multiple nutshots make this great movie and the cameo from Lance Armstrong is actually funny now.
    Sci-fi, Star Wars A New Hope, no need to explain that one.
    Thriller, Jaws, still a great movie even with the obviously fake shark.

    Bladerunner, cool movie but I can't find a copy with the original ending, stupid directors cut.
    they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing
