New Suggestion-farming?

I've got a new idea about looting areas in the great empire,
its kinda like robber barons but not exactly,
basically you could send your soldiers off to some area on the map where they find resources.
there would be no fight but it would still cost money and you need some men to go on the trip. the more you send your soldiers over there the more resources you get.
you would also need some kinda cart or barrows to transport the resources.
you know how you can see the little people collecting food wood or stone in your castle?
well it would be like that but not in a castle. there might be a building in your castle to keep the resources a bit like the loot ware houses, or you might just use storage.
lots of this will need tweaking but i wanted to get a few basic ideas down.

i know its similar to lots of other things already in the game but i wanted to know whether people think its good or not.
if i gets lots of results i'll try and set up a poll (haven't figured out how to do one yet, if i can)

Sorry, but this idea is like giving free resources to people that don't bother in fighting and learning how to do it properly.

sorry but its for people who are scared to fight. and people with many coins would never run out of resources

you cant just put soldiers there cuz it will turn into robber baron
