[Event] The Ruby Exchanger + Settings Option

Ever had that item you had always regretted purchasing? Perhaps, in your naive days you bought a dozen odd Dummy Archers or perhaps on second thoughts these several hundred Tar Pitch Kettles weren't such a good idea.
An easy and fairly accessible (to the active) system that would prove to be effective yet simple that would allow for further customer satisfactory through an in-game return mechanic rather than resentment. The camp will allow you to refund ruby tools at a 50% rate to prevent mass profit exploitation through the 50% discount on ruby purchases phase. For example if you return 1x Siege Tower you shall receive 6 Rubies. The actual % rate is flexible, doesn't necessarily have to be 50%.
Also, on a second note something has been suggested countless of times in one form or another. Most of us have been in a situation or have known of a fellow player who has accidently miss clicked a hefty purchase cost be it immediate completion of a building or a guaranteed Technicus upgrade be it due to either lag, human error or a distraction.
Settings > Options > “Confirmation for Ruby Purchases”
Why isn't after all this time this option isn't installed into the game yet? The settings configuration of this game is incredibly lackluster for an online game of this caliber. It’s quite literally at the level of a game that has just been released for a few months or some short-phased single player game with no purchase cost available aka little to no revenue. As oppose to this game which brings a fair bit of revenue has abysmal settings that may have been acceptable at the early stages of the game a year ago isn't now.

All other games protect the ingame currency that is bought with real money. Why does GGE not do so. Not only does it not protect rubies, but it puts in new tents ect ect with ruby and gold buttons right next to eachother.
Which is a obvious attempt to make us "misclick" to make us waste rubies to cause us to buy more. This is done for me Protect my real life money or you will get no more of it.
Too much benefit for GGS the way it is.
the reason this won't or hasn't been implemented is because returning rubies for almost any price can be exploited...not through the discount but through the conquering of outposts or the transfer of tools through villages. any buildings allowing refunding will essentially lead to a situation where people conquer outposts and demolish ruby buildings to amass rubies. tools can be transferred through villages from a ruby buyer to a non buyer and then exchanged for this same effect if this were to go through.
Exactly,it's a good idea,but I doubt it'll be added
So people have been asking for a "Confirm ruby purchase" dialog, for quite some time. I guess GGS still hasn't worked out that all the ill-will generated from accidental purchases is very harmful in the long run. ie: the short-term profit they make from accidental spending, and refusing to refund accidental purchases, results in unhappy customers who won't put more money into the game.
I accidentally upgraded my stronghold. It was only 7400 rubies, but I wanted to spend it on items that are actually useful! I immediately lodged a ticket to have the upgrade cancelled and get a refund. Standard reply was received 3 days later, "all in-game spending and in-game actions are final".
Count me as another "once bitten, twice shy". I'm just glad I discovered their attitude before buying a large amount of rubies. I imagine others have not been as lucky.
You make a great game GGS, but you seriously need to work on your customer relations skills. Ever heard of "cost-benefit analysis"?
