New Units ( Realism This Time )

I have a idea for units and tools. First units
Rogue - has high attack power laughable defense power plus travels fast but low looting capacity and has 2 swords that can counter halberdier shields :D but is killed easily by ranged troops :( even bowman but countering halberiders is still a big upgrade from 2 handed being weaker that halberiders
Thieves- they can be sent to steal enemy gold only 5 level different or it would be exploited against lower levels(thieves have over 50% of being caught so be careful) only can steal 10-100 based off level.
Earn 3 for completing a shady quest
More ideas will arise as i think of them or others recommend
Leave a post why it should be tweaked too :D

    Sorry,but there are already so many units in the game,and Musketeer? Seige Cannon?

    This game is based in the Middle Ages

    Hmmm, perhaps the soldiers can be added as special units through a temporary event (like the Thorn King)...

    The Siege Cannon shouldn't happen though, because then we'd need another def. tool to counter it.

    I agree with Hanz. Lots of Units are coming to the game. As a high level, you have full access to most of them.

    But, how do you get these troops? If you can come up with and interesting event, this might just work out.

    Love the gold thievery idea! Maybe that could be an option that is selected under the economic espionage. That way there wouldn't be a need for a different character, just an added feature.

    Is there going to be a matching ranged unit to go with the Dual Swordsman?
    I got a idea! You can get 3 thieves for completing 1 shady quest

    Great way to incorporate the thieves. You should add this to your original post.

    the cannon was invented in the 12th century in the middle east! that is middle ages! It was so feared that the stuart family managed to take over all of Caledonia without using it! by just lugging it around! general shrapnel made the idea of using scrap metal and devastating mass armies in one go! Now if we brought cannons into the game the same weapon that ended massive row after row after row of troop lines in battles: we would ruin the point of sending out many troops and basically only use small armies, boring and annoying!
    I consider my troops to be money, that goes out and takes prisoners, that then in turn goes out an takes more prisoners!

    Atleast mine had research behind it lol I saw one that said "heavenly warriors that ignore moat and wall protection" thats unrealistic

    Really their aren't that many units when you think about. Bear, Lion, and the renegades from Ice Sand and Fire are all exactly the same unit. Spearmen, Halbreders, Vet Spearmen and Sentinal of the Kingsguards are all essentially the same just each one is about 10% stronger than the previous one. They might as well just cal them Spearmen+1, SPearmen+2 etc.

    Mauraders and Barbarians are damn near exactly the same.

    The only units that aren't rehashes of another unit are Pyros, Wolfhounds, flame bearer and the composite bowmen

    lol. anyways great idea but we need 2 get def units 2 counter them. thieves shouldnt b able 2 steal 2 much. only 10-100 coins each (depends on lvl)

    the dual swordsmen sounds like 2handed. change the name around a bit. mayb get 15 of them as the daily rewards?

    Game has over 50 types of units. Making more of the current CPU ones attainable would be better than adding yet more.

    i.e: dragon, blade quest and thorn king troops.

    Otherwise we'll get to a point where we'll have Veteran Kingsguard Troops! :huh:
