    I get three epic weapon for commanders in a roll ;). You got a really bad luck

    From what I've learned about equipment:

    -Stats will always vary from piece to piece. It's very rare for 2 pieces to be exactly identical.
    -Original equipment has 1 attribute
    -Rare equipment has 2 attributes
    -Epic equipment has 3 attributes
    -Legendary equipment has 3 attributes that can start as high as 20% and can be upgraded by Technicus more times for an even greater bonus
    -There is no "forumla" to forging a new equipment piece. What you make is completely random. (I have tried everything I could think of multiple times and everything ended up differently. Somebody prove me wrong, please).
    -There is no "look" equipment yet
    -Equipment can be found by defeating any NPC (robber baron castle/tower/fortress/dragon), however, the higher their level the greater the chance to find a stronger item.
    -Equipment can be used in events, such as Berimond

    Not only are there different equipment qualities (ordinary, rare, epic, legendary), but there are also different classes (ordinary helm of the attacker, epic weapon of the hero). The equipment's class determines it's primary attribute. The primary attribute is the first one listed and will "always" be stronger (as well as upgrade more with Technicus) than the others. Below is a list of the different classes I have found along with their respective primary attribute:

    Commanders:
    Treasure Hunter: Increases the chance of finding strong equipment
    Bowman: Increases combat strength of ranged fighters
    Combatant: Increases combat strength of melee fighters
    Besieger: Reduces enemy wall protection
    Unstoppable: Reduces enemy moat protection
    Breaker: Reduces enemy gate protection
    Deceitful: The army will be detected later
    Attacker: Increases the travel speed of the army
    Hero: Increases glory points
    Just: Increases honor points acquired
    Fervent: Increases the fires caused by looting
    Miser: Reduces travel cost
    Marauder: Increases plundered resources when looting
    Destroyer: 1% chance of destroying an enemy building when looting

    Castellans:
    Entrenched: Increases moat protection
    Staunch: Increases wall protection
    Unbroken: Increases gate protection
    Iron Rain: Increases combat strength of ranged fighters
    Shield Wall: Increases combat strength of melee fighters
    Invader: Increases travel speed during conquest (capturing outposts)
    Conqueror: Reduces occupation time required during conquest (capturing outposts)
    Scout: Detects incoming attacks earlier
    Concealed: Reduces the resources lost due to plundering
    Firefighter: Reduces fires cause by looting
    Defender: Increases glory points earned

    These names only indicate the item's primary attribute; it has no effect on any others or their %'s. Any of these can be in any quality (rare, epic...) and come in any form (helm, weapon, armor, artifact).

    Without bonuses you need to keep a conquered tower for 24h to get it to yourself.
    Reduced occupation time drops this below 24h (about 15mins / 1%)

    Hunting more legendary equipment... They're great, and with technics even greater. Thanks for this thread, info is useful - althoug it would be great if someone made a google-spreadsheet or something to combine all the info.

    Thank you for the above information. I'm a newbie! My questions are: I'm at lowly level eight and I can't seem to get to the next levels. Is it only through battling that I can achieve the next level - cuz I'm losing! I am building my military in the meantime. What can I do to achieve the next levels? Also, where do I find horses? Are they a good investment?

    Just do the quests and keep attacking Robber Baron Castles, there is plenty of info on how to attack in the Tips and Tricks section and keep on the thread topic or just open a new thread. Hijacking threads is frowned upon.

    Oh, and the search function works if you go to the correct section of the forum and search that section.

    I've seen it multiple times stated as a very powerful piece of rare equipment found only in special events and only lasts for a specific period of time (even passed this info on in my ignorance). I met a guy in my own alliance who has seen it a few times amongst his old alliance members and has had it himself; it is found in special events, it does last for a specific period of time, but it is not powerful. It changes the "look" of your army when traveling (attacking, moving from castle to castle, etc). Apparently, his changed his army to look like cows marching toward the target. That's all (so far as I understood it) so if you've ever seen cows walking around on the map, that's a commander with Look equip moving their army.

    Nothing to get your panties in a bunch over; it won't keep you from achievements and won't make anyone more powerful. Just keep working the Smitty and paying the Technicus...

    yo the look is a temporary disguise for your soilders e.g in the individual glory tournament it gives a UNIQUE look THE SANDS OF TIME which disguises your army as terrifying deathly warriors for 1 month.
    It is given to the top 3 in the tournament. And it is NOT needed to unlock achievement AND cannot be forged or found. Correct me if u find something else. And it is for commanders.

    I have a commander with a level 4 return gem, wayfarer hero, scimitar +5, epic helmet and armor of the miser, and rare artifact of the just. in all, it is 14% more units on flanks, 8% on frontal, 41% off costs, +18.5% melee strength, 17% longer to detect army, 11.5% resources looted, 7% honor, 3% glory, and 3% more damage.
