 i remember 5 days long KL rofl so wouldn't wonder if tomorrow serer fails haha

There's been an 8 day league once, came with its issues but I believe they figured something out.

GGE have to start looking at the players as customers. You wont get loyal customers when you threat them like idiots..

If i had treated my customers (work as a software developer) this bad i would have been out of business for a long time ago.

You have to give us schedules and plans so we can plan ahead. That GGE dosent is either because they are lazy, or they have no control over their on development. And i find both scenarios equaly disturbing. 

I'ts just common business sense to keep your customer happy..

Since no one in GGE will ever read this i at least got out some steam..

Sorry to disappoint you but both your reasons are false in this case. It's just easier to make changes to a schedule that's not public, you avoid drama that way.

They're not willing to give event schedules in advance to players, but they are happy to announce prime-time ruby sales and offers in advance. Both on the forums and with the in-game announcements.

Sums up GGS's attitude towards players, doesn't it.

Hello Everyone:

      Everything at GGE has been screwed up for the last several years.Remember about three or four years,maybe more,when GGE came under new mangement. Up until then we had a posted schedule of when events would start and end.

Then the money mangement group moved in and the game started going down because mangement was only interested in making more and more money from us!!!!  For the old timers think back five years ago and think about how many ruby specials we had in a months time.Today we have more ruby specials in one day than we did in a months time back then!

Please don't jump on the Moderators buttes. They are only doing what they are told which don't sound like much more than what we're told!!!

then it would be time for a GGE employee to take on those tasks himself. and like players who are not required to play, players are also not required to be a voluntary moderator. part of the voluntary job is sometimes said.

Easier for who exactly  Poseidon I appreciate your not in a position to post a schedule as had always been done in the past and that its not your choice what you can or cant post here....... but your not a paid employee of GGE, your a signed up player representative, so I would sincerely hope that you reflect and pass on the true players views to the Studio, as it clearly doesnt consider us as customers, merely cash flow........ for you there is no cash flow and very little reward or bonus for a moderator, so use the contact you have to ensure the true view of the player is represented and not just the company line.
For those of usthat have invested time, energy and finance into this silly game, a schedule or at the very least pre announcement of a major part of the game being put on pause is an essential to inform our playing time, probably get a lot fewer tickets for boosters bought for an event that doesnt happen if they managed to consider some level of customer service. 
If we're honest the lack of announcement smacks of them having broken yet another part of the game and not having a clue how to sort it...... another nail in the coffin on why do we bother to invest and build with this game

Come on everyone GGS are doing a great job . Don't see any problems
in game everything seems to run perfect especially the primetimes .
never seen a problem at all with ggs taking money no bugs what so ever.

game wise wouldn't change much same events over and over again 
everyone seems to be happy with same events all the time.

you lot do know only thing in ggs idea's department is tumbleweeds now

I think you guys are too tough on the moderators. i've played 7 years, bought a couple rubies from time to time to help keep GGE in business. As much as the game has changed in this time, the one constant is that the mods are treated poorly by the players (and GGE I suspect) Darned if they do and darned if they don't on every issue. It's no surprise the banner looking for mods has been on the page for so many months.

Don't think I agree with your view. Mods choose to be mods for whatever reasons they have. Many players wouldn' t apply on the grounds of the fultility of cracking your head on the floor for no reason. They won't change the game, or even influence changes that GGE don't want to make anyway. If you stand up as a target, your going to get shot at, so why bother. If Mods didn't volunteer, then maybe GGE would put their own staff on it. A mod must get something that satisfies themself out of it, no matter what, so the choice is their own and willingly done.

You only need to look at different forums to see why some mods thrive, and this isn't one of them, these have been put there as a breakwall between the game developers and players. Other forums are discussions amongst players with no real expectations, just venting frustations, idea's and Q&A. That doesn't really work on a game forum where the game has so many different issues. I think this is why many previous experienced mods have moved on, they have realised the same and have wanted to move on, some say they saw what was coming, but there are different opinions.

I see you have been playing for quite a number of years, maybe you should volunteer, or maybe you are!
