Thx,

The downside is that i cant see any difference. some new rewards non of which are any use whatsoever. So unless you are a newbie there is gonna be zero point.
I havent played the master level and seeing as i dont want anything in the rewards i dont see the point, I am not really sure why it took so long to bring back a game that has had no changes to it though.
But i guess it gives us all something to do when hitting the kahn for the 500th time becomes tedius.
And BTW 350,000 pearls for a 300 PO deco? have you put 2 zeros on the end of that price by accident?
Firstly I doubt there is many players in the game still need a 300 PO deco at this point. You give 300 pearls out for farming a level 8 Convoy. That will cost you approx 100 troops and 30 wooden ladders 10 wooden rams and 100 wooden mantlets.
Including travel time thats approx a 6 hr travel /coolown time. Assuming you hit over an 12 hr period thats 3 lots so approx 1800 pearls per day at a cost of 600 wood mantlets, 180 ladders and 60 rams and 600 troops.
That would mean it would take you 194 days of the event. given the event lasts 10 days that 20 events to get 1 300 po deco, at a cost of 116,400 Mantlets, 35,000 wood ladders, 12,000 rams and wait for it 116,400 troops!!!
If its one event every 3 months as it has been previously its going to take someone almost 5 years to save up for a single massivly out of date deco!!!!
Of course you could probably knock that down to 2 years for the deco IF you hit the lower level convoys too but seeing as they give a much worse return on pearls / troops/ tools used you losses are goign to be much higher.
I dont get it? by the time i can afford to buy the deco I am guessing decos will all be 3000 PO +!!!!!!!!!!!
If it takes you 7 days to get it does that mean you dont get anythign as a reward?
EDIT
Ignore that the display counts down and shows less time but when you get the item it resets to 7 days, not sure what happens if it takes u 8 days to get it tho
You get more pearls from farming the convoys in master level, so that reduces the time to 6-9 months to get a single 300 PO deco!!!!
But given no one will want or need a 300 PO item it seems pretty pointless to use a hundred thousand troops / tools getting something u dont need.
Back in the day the event decos were actually worth more than the decos you could buy.
So back then you could buy a festival square with 190 PO for 5500 rubies the event decos were 205 PO and if you were dilligent you could fill an op in a couple of events with them.
Now you can buy 1000 PO items for 4999 Rubies (plus other stuff) and yet the event decos are only 300 PO ? and it takes you 2-3 events to get a single deco at huge troop loss. It doesnt really make any sense at all?
by the same logic if you were keeping the same ratio of purchasable decos to event decos, these decos should give 1100 PO and cost about 7000 pearls.
Back then there was much more game balance, it actually gave the non ruby player the opportunity if they worked for it to get better PO in their castles than the ruby buyer. yes the ruby buyer could fill their castles instantly with festivals, but with months of work a non ruby player could fill their castles with event decos and get 8% better PO yes it would take many months to get that, but it was possible Most players need in the region of 350 decos to max out their PO in castles, this used to be possible in these events in a few events so say 6-9 months of effort to max out all castles.
Now GGE allow the non ruby player to get 1 300 PO in 6-9 months effort. which instead of being 8% stronger is actually 333% weaker than the ruby buyer can buy, and you get 35,000% less of them in the same time. or in other words it would take you 175 years to fill your castles with items that are 333% weaker than the ruby buyer can get. compared to how it was ie. 6-9 months to get 8% stronger.
It its a very good illustration of how the game has changed and how they have thrown the game balance out of the window. It used to be that all rubies did was got you there faster, which is the whole premise of f2p games, now you cant even get in the same ball park as a ruby buyer no matter how much effort you put in.
Says everything you need to know about the game. Thankyou GGE.

- Cheaper prices in the shop. I can buy 10 1 hour time skips for 100 silver pieces. So if I spend 20000 pearls on 500 silver pieces, I can get 50 1 hour time skips. The pearl shop sells them for 5000 pearls for 5 1 hr time skips. So I would need to spend 50k pearls to get the same number. Therefore the 1 hour time skips are way too overpriced. The public order items are even worse... nobody will save up hundreds of thousands of pearls over a year or two just to get a trash PO item when they could spend 5k rubies to get a 1k PO item right away.
- Base Resource Production: The main tent should slowly produce resources.
- Commanders: Why should we use a 0/0 commander?

There are 2 look items in the rewards section for buildings you will only have in your early days, no high performance level 70 should be holding a woodcutter or sawmill as they simple decrease PO space for food production. Given the number of pearls required these will not be items that will be easily obtained and will in fact have a huge outlay since they are also 3 times the number of pearls for the PO piece Philt123 was referring to above. Why are they there? Why not a reward that people might actually want?

the stuff in the shop is uninteresting except for the PO 600 item, but if master 1 gives a pretty cool look item i wonder what you get for master 2
