End of storm month

I want to know how the last minutes work with Storm.

It ends on 00:30 you can not do anything on storm anymore.

After a minute of 5 you recieved the payment about the results of storm from your alliance.

We found out that last night in those 5 minutes a new account in the alliance can make the differents between place 1 or 2.

Is this right, a bug or a mistake?   What are the rules about this?

I suspect the other alliance still had some constructions going that finished before prizes are distributed but after the 00:30 end time. I don't know if that's the case, but that'd be my guess.

Or do you mean that within 5 mins past 00:30, someone with a bunch of cargo points joined an alliance, which put them above yours/another alliance? I'm not certain about that then.

As far as I can tell, it's a poorly implemented feature. Of course, I have no idea how hard it is for GGS to, at 00:30, take a snapshot of where everyone's cargo points are at, and then distribute rewards accordingly; maybe they have to have that delay before distributing rewards for technical difficulty purposes.

Yes the 4/5 minutes between end time and giving the rewards..

If it is right that when someone join the alliance with many points after end time and before rewards, count for the alliance where the account go to. So the can win in that moment the month tournament.

What is the idea about this for GGE?

that should be a bug , when something is closed it's closed , at least that's my way of thinking  as simple as i am.

That is how it works, yes it can be expolited and sadly it isn't easy to fix.
