New Feature Coming Soon - Private Resource Villages

Brave warriors,
You've read correctly: the Private Resource Villages are coming! Their release is currently planned for the mid of December, but we will keep you updated here on our forum and in our next update notes!
Some of you are already familiar with the topic, but for some other players this might be something they've never heard about, so let's explain what those Private Resource Villages are all about:
The Private Resource Villages can be bought directly after you've unlocked a new kingdom
Your Private Resource Villages won't be displayed on the world map!
This means that other players will not be able to see your precious Private Resource Villages and therefore they also won't be able to attack and conquer them, nor do you not need to station any troops in them.
Each Private Resource Village boosts the production of 1 resource like food, wood or stone, in your kingdom's main castle!
This means that they do not boost production in your capitals and/or trade metropolis!
Each private village can be upgraded with village tokens to increase the production boost
Private Resource Villages can be bought by you in a dedicated and new village shop with the help of village tokens!
You will be able to purchase village tokens via different ways
Samurai tokens in our samurai shop or
Nomad tablets in our nomad shop or
In-game offers or
in our shops for rubies
There will be a shared limit for your resource villages though (both public and private) which will work out as follows:
5 per resource in The Everwinter Glacier
10 per resource in The Burning Sands
10 per resource in Fire Peaks
You’ll also be able to discard a Private Resource Village you no longer need.
Private Resource Villages will be listed in an updated village overview dialog together with public villages. second to public ones
Public villages are sorted before private villages.
Private villages are sorted from lowest to the highest level
The village overview dialog gives access to the private village store and displays the village limits and your amount of village tokens.
The new Private Resource Villages will have levels of their own which will range from level 1 to a maximum level of 15. Once your Private Resource Village has reached level 10, it’s going to be equally as strong as a public one. This means in return that Private Resource Villages Levels 11-15 will be even stronger than public ones.
Let’s take a look at an example of a Private Resource Village (Food) in the Everwinter glacier:
Resource | Village Level | Token Costs per Level-Upgrade | Total | Food |
Food | Normal Village | - | - | +50% |
Food | Private Village | 10 | 35 total | +50% |
Food | Private Village | 10 | 45 total | +52% |
Food | Private Village | 10 | 55 total | +54% |
Food | Private Village | 10 | 65 total | +56% |
Food | Private Village | 20 | 85 total | +58% |
Food | Private Village | 25 | 110 total | +60% |
So a Private Resource Village at level 15 will give you a +10% higher food production bonus (+60% total) than a normal resource village would (+50% total).
The food bonus shown above is behaving the same way that normal public resource villages do.
Please be also aware that the village token costs mentioned above are not stacking:
In total, you need 110 tokens to get from level 1-15; meaning...
...35 tokens from level 1-10…
...and additional 75 tokens from level 10-15
Speaking of village tokens, let’s give you a detailed overview of the main sources where you can obtain them from (available from level 18 onwards):
Shop Type | Khan tablet | Samurai token | Ruby cost | Village Token amount | Stock limit |
Nomad | 100 per token | 1 x Village Token | 45 in total
300 per token | 1 x Village Token
Samurai | 100 per token | 1 x Village Token | 45 in total
300 per token | 1 x Village Token
Armorer | 900 rubies | 1 x Village Token |
We’re really looking forward to this new addition in our games, as it will further enhance your gaming experience in our Great Empire!
