DNA on the IN 1 server is a shit...

These days DNA is becoming a big problem for the players on the IN 1 server... When we attack someone they just say that 'Why are you violating DNA?' I am strictly against this and i think GGE should also work on this to remove it... THIS IS A WAR A GAME AND WE SHOULD NOT MAKE PEACE PROPOSALS ON THE SERVER BUT JUST START A WORLD WAR... so that there will be some enthusiasm about the war and even players can learn to survive in these types of conditions... THIS WHOLE DNA IS INTRODUCED BY CHAKRAVYUH OR DRAGONS UNITED.


I am strictly against this all...

    At how this game goes, you can't even blame alliances or players.
    The game developers forced players to get into such ideas about "DNA" why should i burn or take part of a war since i get more from events than in a war, example a worthless capital outdated. 
    A little example the many npc commanders introduced in the game since the start of 2017 (Halloween commander i think it was the first npc commander with only npc bonuses). And after that event, all this "drama" started.
    This year you can see how they're going with the game, server vs server events, only that. More ways to make money..
    They re-worked the alliance tournament into a npc hit only event. Another "PvP" event, that was a nice way to make some glory, and others yes cheated by doing glory exchanges, but that's not an entire reason to change it to npc.. there were good solutions still, to make it PvP..

    So in the end, enjoy the game as it is, play in the way you want, until you can.. they'll take away that option too.

    The sentiment is admirable but the reality is that the game developers have been forced to move away from the war aspect because players won't stick to the game rules.  Increasingly alliances simply won't fight because GGE cannot tackle multi-accounts, password sharing, alliance farms, shared accounts across alliances, rented accounts.  Until GGE get us back to one player one account it really isn't a war game it's simply one long exploit.  Once the role of in game recruitment was devalued at the expense of a small number of players within an alliance purchasing a disproportionate number of horrors any sense of balanced conflict went out the window.  Take misused accounts out, take troop purchases out then you have a war game otherwise you simply have exploitation of many by a few on an industrial scale.  

    My relatively recent experience was players weren't as good as players four to five years ago there was no sophstication or style or even a great degree of skill no tactics or strategy discernible.  As a result of the biggest buyers being allowed to congregate in one or two alliances realistically all competitiveness has gone.  It wasn't like that originally or at least not to the same degree.   Right now the only thing war in GGE is good for is absolutely nothing.  The designers didn't introduce this many events because it and PVP were viable options.  We all saw the winning score in Fury's Blade and got to experience firsthand the compelte absence of an explanation for the disparity between  the couple of winners and everyone else.  In the absence of evidence or even the courtesy of an acknowledgement of players concern I concluded participation in a World Cup given the sheer scale of the problems on GB1 make expenditure not worth it.  Whilst GGE facilitate rule breaches and celebrate and reward rule breaking I see little value in meaningful participation or expenditure.

    The concept of individual and collective responsibility applies here.  They provide the framework they can't control player behaviour.  GGE players in my experience are way way too tolerant.  People talk a good game but when it comes to collective action to make change happen they disappear largely because in real terms they benefit from people in their alliance taking risks or they are simply not brave enough to walk away.  The reality is players leaving their alliance when things get tough is what keeps the most successful alliances at the top.  If players were brave enough to stick it out and realise they are better off where they are and can get the rewards at an individual level they lack the ability to achieve at an alliance level.  The reality is they aren't good enough to hang on in there so they jump ship for an easier life and disappear into the dustbin of development.  If you really want to combat CHAKRAVYUH OR DRAGONS UNITED.then bascially you need to proactively ensure players don't join them.  Whilst they can keep recruiting your best players you can only beat them by having significantly greater numbers than they do and fighting a loing long drawn out war which saps there strength.

    If you played back in the day you would know it was far more disproportionate with people buying troops lol, speaking out your ass on that one mate. There was troop deals, and hence there became alliances like Illuminati. Horrors used to be way more influential and powerful with the weaker defences back then and lack of equipment etc. 

    Only difference now is the medium which people pay has changed. There’s big ruby players in all alliances but most of them burn out and therefore they always funnel upwards, it’s a natural process and it’s absurd to blame GGS for that. You’re almost suggesting to remove alliances or to move players or remove the options to pay for the game?

    I've played for at least six years consistently.  I never had the option to buy super horrors and to imply there were as many troop offers with the strength of troops and sheer number you can repeat purchase simply isn't true there weren't and we didn't buy because recruitment was sufficient and we gained the gap by improving our recruitment options faster than our opponents.  Troop recruitment mattered as both sides had to rebuild the offensive and defensive armies they lost which took time and this slowed wars up and allowed for rebuilding.  The alliance system was robust with three balanced alliances TDU, Uknighted and BSK supported by their families with other strong independent alliances, Musks, Epicness, TRT, Gondor, Bemrose.  The game was better balanced from a defensive perspective in that we actually had the opportunity to defend and we were better at defending, I lost once in a six month period at one stage Donnie78 who I played with didn't lose at all.  That's the difference.  We didn't describe PVP as a sneak attack at 3 or 4 a.m. and then congratulate ourselves on that being a win lol we faced off against active players when they were on and we knew the player attacking without having to worry that they might be borrowing the account or jumping in from another alliance.  That's respecting your opponent and the game something that now is sadly lacking.  

    Illuminati were impressive but I personally never faced them they hit higher honour players in general.  There impact was brief and less signifcant than BSK, TDU or Uknighted though and those alliances had some but not a massive imbalance of ruby players initially.  Illuminati were more a firework than a sustained barrage.  The game was more balanced than it was now and consequently we fought more wars and there was more PVP.  

    They way people play has changed and the way people allow others from inside and outside to buy their troops and resources for them certainly has.  It isn't a good idea hence the long bans handed out for financial irregularities.  Real players don't allow themselves to be bought they earn their place at the top table.  Loyalty can't be bought.  

    Based on what we have seen recently I can outperform most of your ruby players without having achieved their level of development.  I will lose ground over the summer with events work in full swing but I and others in smaller alliances understand how to pace our development to suit our play.  Players don't burn out themselves they are burnt out by forced development which is why GB1 is so weak now comparatively the growth of our player base and player retention has been stunted by a system designed to work for a few players rather than our server as a whole and that in my view needs to change.  New players are simply looking at it without tinting glasses and recognising they have a better chance of being successful on another server due to poor leadership and open mismanagement.  

    I have advocated removal of players and bans and penalties for alliances which breach the rules and I stand by that.  I have also said clearly I feel that player recruitment should be closer to US Sports which do a great job of keeping it competitive through player drafts and salary caps.  I advocate for breaking up the top alliances through recruitment caps.

    i would happily  drink to that if this was 2015 the game was much fun then now it is an event crap

    So drop the DNAs, then you aren't violating it. DNAs are alliance agreements, you don't have to have any ... we don't (well, apart from one because it's more of a mutual support thing rather than a don't hit thing)

    In our server, it is like a forced thing. Even if u are not following it and did some activity that is seen as rule breach automatically so-called penalties apply to you.


    Since it is a small server u do know that u cannot go against the few hundreds of players that are only ones playing all time, are clogged at the highest level and collectively form these so-called 'server' rules.

    Our server has a huge DNA. You attack anyone war is going to start.


    Last time I made a real PvP attack was during a war and I used glory banners because my targets had no defending skills whatsoever.


    It's not something that can be done overnight either, and this usually applies to smaller servers because if war happens its only 2 sides, you and the enemy, and after the war if you attacked an enemy, tension rises, if you attack an allies, you screw your whole alliance over for future wars.


    And because it's so small everyone tries to team up to get the advantage leading to the 2 sides growing in subs/allies, thus leading to no one to hit.

  • our server has DNA but we have enough allainces who don't follow the rules and just attack if they want. especially older memebers who want to go back in time when there where no events,just war and aatacking. in our server, a few allainces have no rules at all wich i think is just fine and good. also had a few interesting wars because of it

  • frozenvirus lemme make this straight forward for you..............im also a player in indian server but unfortunately im in support of dna unlike you.............
    see if we remove dna its very simple and i assure you that you will be among those guys who will say that i wanna go into a neutral ally...........in our server there are many ruby players and if they start attacking   you bro......you will only have time to repair your building and nothing else.........your only able to see one side of a coin and assuming that the other side would be better.........and i have examined your castle very well and according to me if dna rule are thrown out then buddy that would be the last day you will be playing the game.........

    What's the point in the server..? I was on there for 5 minutes hit one person then nearly had the whole server try and hit me level 70's included to me it seems there's far few actual players on there and just shells of existing players in the top alliances no such thing as a server wide dna you can't stop a feature of the game.
