    I guess my feedback would be, i cant see any noticable changes to the game,  which i guess given the nature of the changes is a positive thing.  However its broken the autofill function.  Which is a bad thing.

    So in summary, no discernable positives, and so far one negative.  So overall a fail. 

    Updates are supposed to add somethign to the game, be it reliability / stability, new features.  etc etc.  And fix existing problems.  Not add new ones.

    Maybe there have been behind the scenes improvements, but I for one cant see them.

    Also I have to assume this update wasnt tested?  If it wasnt why not?  surely thats the whole point of a test server ?
    Also its not always the fact you break something, if how you go about fixing it, and communication with your customers, making sure you let them know whats happening at all times. 

    As per usual nothing.  No announcement, no details of a hotfix, nothing!!! 

    This is worse than actually breaking something, its actually unforgivable as its such an easy step to fix.

    broke autofill SMFH now I gotta load center with wood tools id say thanks for saving me roobs but nah. Why you gotta break things all the time yall steal enough as it is tricking folks into losing troops is rotten. wtf gge

  • typical update, "optimize" things that don't need fixing, and present more problems in the game.... can we get one update without problems that need another update? just once? is that asking too much?   i'm sure the hamster running his wheel needs a break...

  • yes autofill is absolutely atrocious I love this game and the autofill was an awesome update but why is it not filling properly anymore. It is not filling shields in the middle anymore nd trying to hit nomads quickly. also I click to fill in a max fire tower and half the time in the middle it puts melee to battle a melee lost 150 troops to this cause why would it do that didn't think to check. please revert the autofill to properly tool my attacks again I have talked to several on us1 thinking my acc might just be glitching everyone is furious

  • We hear nothing from goodgame for weeks, months sometimes, and then they present us with tiny and pointless updates...

    What the f****ng hell are you doing with your time goodgame, do you only have 2 guys working on the game?? Fix berimond and the ally tournament already FFS, or at least tell us how far along you are instead of keeping us in the dark!

    And how about all the cheating and exploiting that goes on in this game, why don't you respond to that? How many times do we have to scream it at you, so you can get it through your thick skulls?

    What an utterly worthless company you are!!

    I believe this is a contradiction in terms; One reason there isn't much going on at the moment in terms of updates is because the team is focussing on getting the things you've mentioned sorted/fixed.

    I'd also point out that when there were updates every week or so, players complained constantly that there were far too many updates, this feedback was taken onboard and now the updates/optimisations should be of a higher quality but potentially a lower quantity.

    Berimond WILL be coming back, and we should see it back in the game within the next 2 months. I don't think that the alliance tournament is currently broken, we just haven't seen it recently.

    I hope that clears some things up for you :D

    I hope it comes back before I am level 70, would be nice to get a couple of the 35-69 bracket equip.


  • I am new to the game, day three. I just tried to send resources to another castle for the first time since reaching level 9 and it said I cannot do that until I put a marketplace in my castle.

    I have searched about for something about this and don't see it. How do I put in a marketplace?

    @Bill  At the bottoem right hand corner theres a  button called construction  click that then the section you are in should be called 'civil' Keep going next and hoover over the images it should state what the buildings are and market palace should be there.

    hi, 
    just a quick question.
    Do you think that you can fix the nomads problem,glitch, bug etc in the next hotfix??
    What I'm talking about is something that a lot of people know but they did not wrote about :smile:
    the math and bonuses in the front when attacking the nomads are totally off.
    even if you have all the right tools and you have a 63 % bonus in front due to tools and commanders versus castellans and their tools you still lose at least 25 % of your troops. Every time. 
    I tried everything and it's not working. so all we have left is attacking only the flanks.
    please take this message into consideration.

    Ohhhh, and sorry .
    I'm not talking about auto-fill option  I'm talking the math is wrong even with the manual fill. and that's anoying

    Question may be in the wrong thread, but wondering if GGE can provide more than 1min warning prior to maintenance. Would suggest a min 5min countdown that would allow players to finish attacks and (if required) move troops etc

    It would prove a great benefit for more than a 1 minute warning, as you never know when maintenance will start or for how long it would go for.

    The reason there isn't more than 1 minute's warning with an in game message is so that players don't take advantage of the downtime (e.g. to set up and attack other players during the downtime) if there was something like 5 minute's warning this would be a major possibility, and regular occurence.

    Something that I believe will be looked into for the future is about as much warning as you get if you read the forum regularly, but with an in-game message from the system, either linking to the relevant discussisons on the forum, or giving an estimated date and time range for the downtime.

    So a game like Evony that initially gives a 15 minute warning that maintenance will be occuring, before giving a countdown the closer to maintenance happening, is oviously giving every online player at the time an advantage to set up attacks, but wouldn't that also allow players who would be on the receiving end to change their defensive setups, if they are online at the time?

    My point is it would be impossible for the defender to get themselves online while the downtime is occuring, but the attack would continue to travel to the opponent and potentially land during the downtime.
