Swearing

What can we do about guys like deathcomes ?    Jumps into alliances, creates havoc, swears at and threatens everyone, and then runs away like the coward he is.

I tried reporting him and got suspended for my effort.  Almost quit the game over that.


Any suggestions ?

If you were suspended for reporting him, you probably failed to include proof.

Nothing that you can really do about trolls that run around like that, but just remember, they're dumb millinials who got their brains fried by TV and radical political propoganda, so they won't make it in the real world and already have a miserable life if they resort to running around on MMO games and swearing to get attention.

I sent then a screen print, how much proof do they need.


As for "deal with it" ... not an acceptable answer.  I have young players in my alliance and they don't need to see that sort of stuff.

ToS clearly states that you need to be of 13 years of age to play the game, if your members are 13 years of age and cannot handle some vulgar language, they should go play single player campaign games, not MMOs (Massively Multiplayer Online (games)).

ToS clearly states that you need to be of 13 years of age to play the game, if your members are 13 years of age and cannot handle some vulgar language, they should go play single player campaign games, not MMOs (Massively Multiplayer Online (games)).

it's not wat they CAN handle, it's wat they shouldn't have to handle.
swearing isn't part of this game so it should not be excepted wich clearly people seem to do
swearing doesn't belong to MMO's  or other games like that. i'm not a saint but when you except swearing, bullying, false accusing etc in a game....................that;s the wrong way..
it's a wargame not a swearing game. isn't it?

Children are not necessarily be the only ones who may be offended by swearing, but adults as well. But, understandable as to why children are not permitted to play even though it seems to be fairly common in this game for people under the age of 13 to play Goodgame Empire. I am sure there are a lot people under the age of 13 who do not even know they are not allowed to play this game.The problem with children under 13 is that they may be irrational, act very immature, do or say things without even thinking about it, often get in trouble with other alliances, and might be more likely to be spending more time playing Goodgame Empire than on doing homework resulting on what could be poor grades from school or more likely to have low activity because of school and homework. I think that 75% or more of the people who actually play this game may be adults or teenagers, but their is also that small percentage that may make up as much as 25% or less of people who actually play this game being younger than 13 years old and at least half of them may not even know they are not supposed to be playing Goodgame Empire.

You do realize the ones swearing like this are most likely the children you are trying to protect right? LOL

Furthermore, you are playing a public game with all sorts of people from different backgrounds who get brave, being able to say whatever they want anonymously, just like social media. While it may be rude, may be offensive to some, etc. we as people need to grow a skin again and get over it, the overwhelming PC culture we have developed is breeding a nation of insufferable wimps. 99% of the time ignoring people like this makes it go away. the more you feed into them the worse they get. The 1% who continue to nag and nag when they are being ignored are ones who should be reported and banned. There does come a point where enough is enough.
