not just victory, the game said it was a glorious victory! ;)

Cass, another tip on attacking, don't use wolfhounds, even when there aren't any troops at my outpost. If it wasn't for your 30 real attack troops and ruby tools, you wouldn't have defeated those armed citizens.

    ok, another defense against Cass...

perfect setup on that one above. nothing wrong with it at all.

when at war, I loot only one resource to wear down on building and repairing fires. 81,000 wood is useless with only 200 stone ;)
Cass's were veteran ruby defenders - melee/ ranged mix, the really expensive kind of defenders, and my attackers were veteran swordmen and imperial bowmen with a few siege towers and wooden mantlets.

some more screenshots combined together that are worth looking at, kind of funny when you think about how much War Party fails at defeating one player alone:

that's right everyone, I haven't looted a nomad in months. All of our nomad points are thanks to our 2 or 3 of our members who are both low level players. Thank you to our skilled members in Fleur de Sel. :)

But, War Party's nomad points are from... well, probably Cass's leftover troops I'd guess. :/
  • Boo!!!

Jeg is a jerk, and by the looks of it so is Graycat so can't you settle your differences and be friends?

Think "Happy rainbow land " when you see the other's name.

Clean main hit with excellent loot!

You can't live at peace with everyone, Jegk declared war and just kept attacking, and even refused over 5 neural requests without tribute from either side before I finally had enough and started returning attack for attack :)

besides, wars are what bond alliances and keep the game from getting repetitive :)

we both agreed to fight anyway, it isn't a war out of anger or anything.
  • Is the bounty on Jegk's main still on the table?

    Results of the war

Although the war was fought mainly between Jegk and Graycat, the war effected everyone in both alliances and even those in other alliances too. Not all wars can be avoided, but those that can should be. Both of our sides had large losses of coins and rubies, from opening gates and recruiting troops, not counting the resources looted. In only a few days I spent over 100,000 coins on troops and hundreds of rubies on faster travel speed. Economically the war was pointless and, as every war does, it wore down both sides.

Membership wise, War Party dropped a member who joined us, as posted above, and two experienced members joined us partly for the possibility of any war spoils.

Diplomatically we agreed to a non-aggression agreement to prevent our alliances from ever fighting again and spent time talking about the war for a couple days.

Someone asked me what I thought about War Party's thread. I replied that I thought it best to remember friends and members as we liked them best and remembered them most.

The war is over, and you get no tribute.
I didn't fight for tribute, but also I did gain some things. In almost every war everyone involved loses and gains something.
