Transporting Resources between Realms

eibbed62 (AU1)eibbed62 (AU1) AU1 Posts: 386
Hi GG,

I think it would be handy if we could transport special resources such as charcoal, oil, glass and iron, in the same load as our normal resources when moving them between realms, instead of having to do two separate loads.

Also the cost of moving resources between realms is way too high. Especially since the production rates are so low. It takes forever to build up enough resources to build something, only to lose 70% of it when moving between realms. Not very reasonable.

I agree with this. Here is an example: In Sands I have 10 olive groves at levels 7-10. It takes 8 or more days to build up 81,000 in olive oil. I had 77,824 olive oil, I sent all of it to my main in Green Empire. With the resource surcharge, only 23,348 made it to Green. That is a difference of: 54,476. So now, I need olive oil for a total of 7-8 castles. Of course, what I use in Sands has no resource surcharge. But it still takes 8 days to get it. Then 8 days *4 (32 days) to produce enough to send some to each castle in Green, because they all need it. Then 8 days for Ice and 8 days for Fire, and if I decide to use it there, 8 days for Storm Islands. That's a total of 58 days to get 81,000 olive oil for Sands and about 25,000 olive oil for each of the other castles. At this rate it will take me 10 years to build some of these new buildings.

Come on developers at GGS, use some common sense here. How are we supposed to get anything done with all the work we have to do to get all of this stuff, then transport it the other lands? It is next to impossible and is making this game very boring and too much like a real job, not a game.

I am against the majority of updates made starting with the update that included the Auto-War Declaration, the Tribute Demands, Open Gate Looting of Resources, and Increased Construction Time for Building New, or Upgrading Existing Ruby Buildings. Please revoke and give us back our strategy game.

  • How do you transport charcoal from Everwinter to the Great Empire? I want to research a thing that requires charcoal and I can't transport it. Please someone help!

    There's a solution: loot!

For one... put it on the questions thread and not bump a thread....

    Step one...

    Click that^

Step two... Click "The Great Empire"

Step three.... Click "Send over resource"

Final step... Put in however much you want to send over, it'll take between 1 hour and 2 hours depending on your research for time between kingdoms.

But It doesn't show me the charcoal. I can only transport food, wood , stone. (I already know how to transport resources but not the special ones.)
