Nobility Contest *sigh

So the nobility contest is back (at least in Int1), and this time we need to collect resources from our citizens. I feel like I must ask the obvious question: Is there any trick to this? I have noticed that there seem to be more in my MC, and in bigger castles, so is it possible that additional castle extensions or production buildings increase the chance of receiving resources?

    I find it esiast to do it in an outposts, becuase you have less buildings to get in the way of clicking.
