Hey!
I'm not sure what exactly you mean - alliance tournament or royal capitals battle? 

Unfortunatelly, we won't see either of these two events this year. 
Alliance tournament is currently unfair, because it's easily exploitable (you can make a deal with another player and make dealed attack, where you get lots of glory points) and it's unfair to those who fight in a fair (intended) way - so it needs some rework.
About the royal capitals, there are some complicated bugs which need fixes, since they're affecting the event a lot (someone's got several cities, for example)...
