Any help with Eastern plot decorations ??

wendybirdwendybird Posts: 16
I have built up most of my property to the western, northern and southern borders, give or take a few plots.

Here is the pattern for free decorations given when you buy certain land expansion plots. This I got from a post on the forum.

Can anyone give me some advice on the Eastern border, before I buy my next plot?
Thanks.

Rows with plot numbers

Row 1 - 1 2 3 4 5

Row 2 - 1 2 3 4 5

Row 3 - 1 2 3 4 5

Row 4 - 1 2 3 4 5

Row 5 - 1 2 3 4 5

R1 1 lake +38, 2 flowerbed +12, 4 Flowerbed +12
R2
R3 1 Ornamental tree +13
R4
R5 1 duckpond +22 2 Cozy picnic +24

Row 5 plot 4 has a veggie patch. Row 4 plot 5 I am not sure of, I will try to find out today.

Rhon, the 2 Wendy is asking about are not in that picture.

Ok, for some reason I cannot wrap my mind around the rows, but here is what we know thus far. (hopefully remembered correctly :)

Big O tree X X ornamental tree fountain
    hay bale X X X ?
    X X X veggie garden X
    ? ? X cozy picnic western windmill

Sorry if it confuses anyone or is wrong in any way.

If you go by my key, it's the correct ratio and placements for the gift ornaments. I would ask Topherell where the Western Windmill is??? By the look of it, he means Row five, plot five. But Cozy Picnic is in Row Five, Plot Two, not in plot four as his graph indicates.

I read TopherII's post as for the gourmet farm, not the main farm. There is a Western Windmill in row 5,1 and Big Ornamental Tree in row 1,5 as Tzvi pointed out.

Also, TopherII's graph is opposite of how Wendybird's and Tvzi's graphs are oriented. So for example, the Big Ornamental Tree is located in the upper right corner, aka row 1,5, even though in TopherII's graph it is listed on the left.

That's how I interpreted it anyway.

omg how about a diagram like a map or at least a grid in a diamond shape, same as the farm?

A5 would contain the western windmill
E1 contains the big ornamental tree

See post #20 --they added a nice diagram.

Ok, here's a list so far using monica79538's grid configuration.
    Main Farm
    Lake (+38 ): A1
    Ornamental Tree (+13): A3
    Duck Pond (+22): A5
    Flowerbed (+12): B1
    Cozy Picnic (+24): B5
    Flowerbed (+12): D1
    Vegetable Patch (+17): D5
    Ornamental Tree (+13): E? (not E1...*checking*)
    Ornamental Tree (+13): E4

    Gourmet Farm
    Shed (+35): A1
    Cozy Picnic (+24): A4
    Western Windmill (+28 ): A5
    Cozy Picnic (+24): B5
Vegetable Garden (+17): B4? (not D4...waiting to expand there to verify)
    Big Ornamental Tree (+21): E1

    Flower Farm
    Vegetable Garden (+17):B2
    Wooden Wagon (+27):B4

Monica, an addition for your map is:

Gourmet Farm: A1 - Shed (+35) or worth $100,000 if anyone wants to sell it instead.

Great map by the way! Very clear to understand because I too have been lost keeping up with this thread.

Sorry if I caused confusion. I was doing it for the gourmet farm. After I posted it I wanted to delete it, but wanted to share what I had found out. And yes it is different from the other layouts as my mind could not picture it that way. Monica, that looks great. I appreciate you working that out. I am not good with doing such creative things on my computer.

    Thanks for listening,

Hmm, I just expanded my gourmet farm into E3 and there is no hay bale there. I'll remove it from the list. Perhaps it's in E2. I'll go there next and see.

Also, there is no ornamental tree in the main farm E1.

FWIW I have expanded the entire C D and E rows, but have no Hay Bale

maybe the haybale was in that location before the update that brought in the windmill

see post number 20 for diagram.

Kudos and thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread about where the free decorations are located. Here are some simple text grid pics to help illustrate. Please let me know if corrections are needed.

E4 on the main farm is another ornamental tree.

For those who might be more concerned with adding space than happiness when they buy land, be aware that the lake is 5x5 (which totally screwed up my plan to build the cherry orchard at the time!), and the vegetable patch and the cozy picnic are 5x4. The duck pond is only 4x3, which is nice for filling in an awkward area.

Does anyone have the layouts for the new flower farm, & where the hidden decos are there?

The decos in the flower farm are different for each player so a layout would be pointless
