[Suggestion] Timing of updates

Just wondering if it wouldn't be better to throw new things at us earlier in the week. As opposed to starting something on a Friday and having no support or help available all weekend when things inevitably go wrong?

Well, support deals only with the problems on live servers, not the test server ;) So it doesn't really matter what day the update actually is planned on.

So basically there are no devs that follow this forum even during the week to address any bugs or problems that arise as WE test things? Maybe I'm just confused then...

Sure there are but like you said, during the week, not weekends ;) And the support has nothing do to with it :)
  • Perhaps I used the wrong word by saying support, I didn't mean the official support team. I meant whoever needs to know what bugs there are would probably do better to throw things at us earlier in the week so that the test players don't get stuck for the entire weekend unable to figure out how to do the testing! I have been unable to really 'test' anything with the fishing for over 36 hours and I know I'm not alone. It just seem a rather inefficient way to collect needed data and feedback
  • @Delcie (US1)  I totally agree. I think updates on Fridays tend to lead to frustrated players. And it's not just the fact that the bugs won't get fixed, but there are literally zero communication from GGS/mods regarding any problem due to the update after Friday afternoon. And because all the other issues accumulate over the weekend it can take 4-5 days to hear any info or get anything fixed.
