Clearly that is just my personal opinion, but feel free to add your list :)

Like the old way:
- ship arrival being displayed at the top of the menu
- ship being accessible from all farms
- one universal market for neighbours (I don't mind the vendor being separate/farm)
- seeing the remaining feed etc. during production

Like the new way:
- separate horse farm with mine
- the new feed ring is awesome
- nice graphics for all farms
- clear display of production / building process finished
- world map as a starter screen with chat window open (I do appreciate that as a co-op leader very much)

    KEEP IT NEW
    love it !!! I have several farms and it seems like my dreams from questionnaires come true!! :) everything is just there :) at the beginning it took me some time to stick with all new thigs all around (especially the boat place) but then I consider much more freedom to "travel trough new order" definitely keep everything as NEW !! so refreshing, the game is much more adventure - the stress and rush from having everything on one place under preasure disapear and it is much much more playfull... I've reached level 23 so do not know yet - but hope there will be possible to built up some nice wooden horse ranch log house or so (on the place that look like to be there for it :) yeah :)
    KEEP IT NEW BUT OLD
    on the wheel for feeding (which is great) and manipulation- if I could ask - I would switch the positions of standard food and quick/fast food (the white bags) like is on the old version. So in order violet-orange-blue-white standard-white swill/quick. Logicaly would be more reasonable. I already mistaken few times.. (pigs and cows) Chickens - to put white standard food bag closer to others (violet orange and blue) to be in one row. That would be nice :)
    THANK YOU - very nice <3

    Like the old way:
    • No Horse farm - Unless you're planning in adding more stuff, it looks a little empty as it is...
    • Start only with main farm - Yeah, I know most things in other farms are unlocked only on later levels, but it becomes very confusing for a new player to start the game and see all these places. I made a sugestion for it to be less confusing for a new player.

    Like the new way:
    • Feeding Position in Ring - Looks much better than having a lot of feed types in a row.
    • Demolition position in Ring - Now it's really hard to missclick on it, which is awesome!
    • Bigger Event Parking - Now there can be 16 events at the same time! And as it is, it looks like we'll have village and horse specific events!
    • New coop village - The new coop village is beautiful, and it looks like it will have new features. The old one was useless... But I'd like to see other member's farms somewhere in the village... But that would be hard to do, and would be kinda inconsistent with the global map...
    • One flag for each farm - It's awesome to choose one flag for one farm and another flag for another flag. Now when I'm not sure which flag I want to use, I can use three at the same time!

    Things I'd like to see in the test server:
    • Different horizons available in each farm - to prevent bugs like this.
    • More cooperative searches, more achievements, more tractors... - For Horse farm, for Cooperative Village, for boat, you know...
    • Global map with a menu and with that chat window in a better position - See this.
    • Open buildings (boat, garage, deco tower, etc...) directly from global map - You know, this would avoid loading screens and make it easier to enter these buildings. See this.
    • [EDIT] Costumers in different farms have different requests - Well, having someone in gourmet farm asking for cherries doesn't make much sense to me...

    Not liking the new ship - The order in which you load the first tier is for horse shoes - second for cash - the old way was cash up to two tiers and then bonus horseshoe and xp points - If the boat is to be used it needs to offer cash at lowest level i think

    I think this already happens in the normal game.
    Before entering in a temporary farm - first horse shoes, then cash
    After - first cash, then cash, then horse shoes

    This way, new players can also get a decent amount of horse shoes.
  • @Goncalerta (PT1) you do have some great ideas! I'm absolutely in favour of new tractors and global menu with ship, deco tower etc. option.
    Also, would be great seeing when the horse / mine finishes separately :)

    btw...I was sitting and comparing life farm with test, did anybody noticed it??

    Life house

    Test house

    Life Mill

    Test Mill

    and it goes on and on and on...if we are not getting extra building slot, why in the world do we need longer building time?? Because that's what they are doing, with each upgrade time is almost doubled! I checked houses, decorations, processing buildings, and it looks rather like a nightmare by my opinion. So I would rather keep the old building times than this  :#

    HI, i'm a french player so i apologize for my english ;)
    :) New things i like
    - graphics of the farms, and especially the graphic of the ranch (awesome !)
    -world map as starter screen (very useful)
    -the deco tower is really beautiful (but can't be seen on all farms)
    -the new plots of land (bigger)
    -neighbours walk faster
    -the trader makes more often offers
    :s news things i really really don't like
    -the new feed ring (i don't find it useful, now i'm used to it but i don't like it) + doesn't show if some fertilizer left over (very unuseful)
    -the ship not accessible on all farms, and impossible to hear the siren
    -the market neighbours who are not demanding the same (so i have to go to each one, very unuseful)
    -i really don't like that my horses are not on my farm, i like to see them run

    GGS is probably hoping we will spend more gold to speed things up......

    @EmaAndMe (US1) by chance in your comparisons is your main farm house the same level?? If they are not the same the building/upgrade times will be different ;)

      @Data King (US1), I used prices from the building store in both games. What rang the bells for me was the first upgrade of the windmill on test server, time was 17,30 hr-while in life 10,30, which is never that high for low levels to begin with. Someone else noticed that too in the forum, but seems like nobody paid any attention to it. Besides, if it's in a store, when You look at the info blue tiny button, the info itself should be the same no matter what level You are as You can not upgrade those buildings earlier, unless using gold. And building time IS increased dramatically (with double XP added), that's why I'm yakking about it...not very happily..

    Again @EmaAndMe (US1) even if you are looking into the build on the other set of farms and your main farm house is upgraded then it will reflect the time according to the level of the main house with the reduced building/upgrade time.
    On here, the test server, the build times will be half once the build/upgrade is started.

    One new thing i've just decovered ; the ring for the bakery indicates, as for seeds, the last made production. It is not necessary any more to enter to select again the last made cakes
    I think it's very very useful  :)

    I like the new:
    Map overview;
    Separation of horse farm, mine, boat and deco tower;
    Ring menu for construction, feed and fertilizer;
    Full screen button option

    Would like to be able to:
    click on boat not just the dock;
    see the feed left in barn when clicking on a stable in production;
    go to different farms from the deco tower instead of just back to the GF;

    I don't care for the Map Overview.  I prefer to start directly at the Main Farm.  I'd like to see this as an option you could set.

    I don't like the Racetrack and only play it on the Live Farm because of the Gold Mining license.  But I have to admit, the graphics on it being a separate farm are terrific!  I'm hoping all that extra room will be used to implement something I do like.

    I LOVE the bigger farms (36 plots instead of 25) and I'm also thinking there may be some new animals and crops in store to make use of the extra land too.  Very excited about this!

    I like the new Ring menu, though it isn't very well implemented at this point.  But the move/rotate/demo button is a big improvement over the Live farm's menu.  The "last recipe" button on the bakery menu is wonderful!  And I STRONGLY AGREE that we need to have the ability to easily check the food/resources while a building is busy.  I also like that when you hover over the Info button, the size of the building is displayed in the center strip of the ring.  Keep improving the Ring menu this way, you're definitely on the right track.

    I too prefer having the ship available from all farms.  I dispose of my produce in a very structured order with loading the ship being the first thing.  (Then comes bakery/flower shop, then the Market, then straight sales.)  So when the Ship is docked, I'm always checking it first before I harvest anything from any farm.

    The Full Screen button is great!  Would you believe I didn't even know we had a Full Screen option on the Live Farm?  And even knowing it now, I still don't use it over there because it's too much hassle to turn on and off.  But here on the Test farm I'm constantly in full screen mode.

    I have to say I'm really enjoying the speeded up production/build times.  It makes the game more exciting and holds my attention better.  I wonder if somewhat speedier times should just be coded into the game?  I don't know, maybe that would just make the game busier.  But especially during this phase where I'm trying to build my Test farm up as big as my Live farm - I say a big thank you for the reduced times!  :)

    All in all, I think everything on the Test farm so far either IS an improvement, or shows the promise of being an improvement.  I tip my hat to the developers.  :smiley:

    OK @Data King (US1), I did a little experiment upgrading both main houses to the same level and seems that You are right...and frankly I am really happy that I was wrong :)

    Just glad it worked out for you there @EmaAndMe (US1) ;)
  • hello,

    I found it better the old ring menue, that you could see how much feed or fertilizer yet is it without having to look into the farm management. I miss them a lot.
