The Horse Ranch
is composed of the following 5 usable buildings:
Stable, Riding Circle, Show Jumping Course,
Riding Arena and Competition Transporter.
Rose will give you tasks that guide you through the
unlocking process for each building. In order to get the first horse
ranch task, you need to be level 16 and have finished the first ship
task that asks you to provide goods for one of the ship slots.
NOTE:
The temporary island
farms are very
expensive, so if your
permanent farms are NOT
built up enough to
maintain a steady income
of say 4 million or more
a day then you should
hold off on doing any of
the temp farms. There are
other ways to get
needed horseshoes and
start training your
horses. Just to mention
a few, any of the Hard Worker
events and the Cooperative Championship or
just by filling
Organic market contracts.
Follow
the links at the top of
the page for more
detailed information on
each section of the
Ranch.

Stable
Your Stable will introduce Goldy as your first horse. Each time
you level your stable
you will unlock another
stall. With each unlocked stall, you will be able to purchase a horse
with 10
competition
horseshoes.
Just click on an empty box and choose a new horse to purchase.
Your own horse(s)
Name
Of course you will be able to name your current and future horses - even Goldy can be renamed.
As with all naming processes, giving the first individual name will be free, every other name change will cost gold.
Age
Similar to your dog's age display, you will be able to tell how old any of your horses are.
Attributes and attribute levels
Each horse has 3 attributes that play a vital role in competitions:
Agility
Strength
Endurance
How strong each of these attributes are is determined by attribute levels that can be raised through training.
Breeding information
In a future update, you will be
able to
tell
which
generation
of
breeding
your
horse is
from. It
will be
shown at
the top
right of
each
horse's
portrait.
When you bread your horses you
loose the parents and only keep the foal.
Training
Your horses' 3 attributes can be
improved
by
training
on the
training
grounds
Training your horses takes horseshoes and rewards you with training points which are needed to increase attribute levels.
Player horses can now reach level
100.
Higher levels take more XP from training. You
won't see attribute gains until you complete a whole level of training
in an attribute.
Competition Transporter Through
the competition transporter, you may access the competition menu, from
which you can choose opponents and take part in competitions. Race against big farm characters Lester Crowley, Old George and Tessa Townsend. Challenge other players in a
Season Tournament challenge. Do note: It is important
to understand that you only win points when you challenge somebody else
and win. And you only lose points when somebody else challenges you and
you lose.
Helpful reminders
Make
sure you choose your
champion for each
discipline in the
Tournament
preparation tab.
Make
sure you
buy the Small Amount of Fuel
from the Gas station every chance you get.
To gain a breeding effect every time you breed, you need horses that are trained to these benchmark levels: 10, 20, 35, 50, 70,
90.
You wouldn't want that
low level breeder as
your champion.
This might mean 2 more
wins for you each time.
Breed two horses level 35 or higher to have a chance for a
breeding quality 2.
FAQ:
Can you race your horse while it's training? ANSWER:
No.
FAQ:
Can you race your horse while the stable or
training areas are upgrading? ANSWER:
Yes.
Racing against big farm characters
Lester Crowley will challenge you in a
dressage competition with his horse Dusty. Old George’s horse Minnie is a
great show jumper and he is ready to challenge you in this discipline.
Finally Tessa Townsend would like to try to outrun you in a racing
competition with her horse Dakota.
Whether you win or lose is determined by your horse’s
level and the character’s level. Every time you win, their level will go
up until they win. On winning you get golden horseshoes, which can be
used to upgrade your training facilities. When you lose a cool down will
be triggered and you can only attempt to challenge them again after the
cool down has run out.
Meanwhile, train your horse in one of the
three characteristics: agility, strength and endurance. For now your
horse can only go up to level 10. For the training you need horseshoes.
If you decide to do an intensive training it will cost more horseshoes
per point, but you also get more points in the 4 hours the training
takes. You can use the slider to decide how many horseshoes you can and
want to pay for this training session. More info about training can be
found in the
Horsebreeding 101 article.
Challenge other players
Right now
it is also possible to
race against other
players. Race seasons
run for about a month
with a week of rest in
between. You need to
race against other
players to get
tournament points. The
more points you have,
the higher up you get in
the leagues. There is a
bronze, silver, gold and
platinum league in which
you need certain amounts
of points to move up. If
you end the season in
one of these leagues,
you get extra prizes
besides the prizes you
already won from moving
up in the league itself.
A league has 5 stages.
If you manage to win
against 50 players in
platinum league, you
move into the diamond
league. Once in diamond,
you cannot drop out any
more.
To win points, you need to win while
challenging others. Losing against others you challenged will only give
you a few competition horseshoes, winning will give many more horseshoes
and 4 tournament points. To be able to challenge others, you need fuel.
You can see the amount of fuel you have bottom left (red circle on the
picture above). The maximum amount you can have (without buying a larger
fuel tank) is 100. Fuel will replenish by 10 every hour. The timer
indicates how much time is left before it replenishes and the +10 shows
how much fuel replenishes every hour. (I bought a booster on the picture
above, so mine says +11). You need 12 fuel to race against one other
player.
If you want to buy fuel instead of waiting
for it to replenish, you can go to the gas station (click the green
button with the white plus on the fuel bar). The first option allows you
to buy 3 sets of 8 fuel for dollars. You can only buy 3 sets every 24
hours; this will reset at midnight CET, the same time the day resets on
the game for other elements as well. In addition you are allowed to buy
another 3 sets of 16 fuel with gold if you want – this also resets every
day. The second set of options allows you to buy a replenishment
booster. The first booster that costs dollars will add 1 fuel to the
amount that replenishes each hour (so now 11 fuel replenishes each hour
as you can see in the picture above, it says +11 in green). This booster
runs for 24 hours. This run time stacks when you buy the booster
several times (so buying it twice will run it for 48 hours). The second
booster costs gold and will replenish 2 extra per hour (so +12). This
one will also run for 24 hours and again that run time stacks. The last
set you can buy enlarges your fuel tank. This influences the maximum
amount of fuel you can carry. Normally this is 100, but with the first
pack it will be 150. The second pack will even enlarge your tank to be
able to carry 300 fuel. Both packs cost gold and will only be valid for
one racing season. So when a new season starts your tank will be reset
to 100.also readThe Gas Stationby Alabaster
Others
can also challenge you. When you win against them, you get nothing but a
few competition horseshoes. It is important to win though, because if
you lose when somebody else challenges you, you lose competition points!
The higher the league you are in, the more points you lose. In bronze
you lose none, in silver you lose one, in gold you lose two and in
platinum you lose four every time you got challenged and lost. You can
see who challenged you and what the result was on the
Notice board (second tab). Click the message to see the
details of the race. You can also quickly scan the subjects, they will
show whether it was a victory, clear victory, loss or clear loss. The
difference between normal loss or clear loss does not influence the
amount of points you lose.
The prizes you can win while moving up in
the leagues exist of dollars, extra fuel, tokens, mystery boxes,
horseshoes and seaweed materials. When you stick in the league until the
end of the season you can win an amount of gold, a title, some avatars
and a trophy. In diamond you also get a unique golden stallion
decoration (4×4, 60 happiness). You can view the prizes you will get on
the first tab of the notice board. Use the large green arrows to flick
through the leagues and the small brown arrows in the league prize
section to flick through the different prizes you will get when you end
up in that league at the end of the season. In the top left corner you
can see for how much longer the season will be running and in the top
right corner you can see in which league you are and how many points you
have. I am currently in the Gold I league, only a few points away from
Platinum V. Next to the season prizes display you can see how many
points you get for a win and how many points you lose when others
challenge you and you lost against them in the league you selected.
Once you successfully finished a season and
you got all your season prizes, you can view them on the third tab of
the notice board. You can choose which title you want to be shown when
others challenge you and which avatar you want others to see. Do note,
this avatar will also be shown on your farm above your username (where
usually a barn picture is shown). You can set your trophy on the trophy
stand on the horse farm (located next to the horse shop).
Horseshoes
are needed to train your
horses in the
arenas
and you get them from
the Ship harbor.
Competition
horseshoes are needed to
upgrade the
arenas and you get them
from training your
horses.
To gain a breeding effect every time you breed, you need horses that are trained to these benchmark levels: 10, 20, 35, 50, 70,
90.
Every one of these levels will give you an extra breeding effect slot on your foal.

Upgrading
a training arena will grant additional bonuses on the amount
of training points you get per training (+1 XP per upgrade level). This
will be displayed accordingly.
If training is in section the remaining training time will be displayed in the training
arena's ring menu and in the respective training interface.
Each training takes a fixed amount of time that can be skipped using gold.
Once the training is over, you may collect all
earned training points in the training interface and start a new one
right away if you desire.
Training from the Stable
Once you select a horse in the stable menu,
you may see 3 different progress bars - one for each attribute. These
progress bars display the current attribute level and how many training
points are left to advance to the next attribute level.
From there, as well as through each of the training grounds' ring menus, you may access the respective training interface:
Riding Circle - Agility training
Show Jumping Course - Strength training
Riding Arena - Endurance training
Once you select a training interface, all horse
attributes will be displayed, but the attribute you are about to train
will be highlighted so you can be sure you selected the right training
method for the attribute you would like to improve.
Only one horse may be trained on each training
ground, each horse may only train one attribute at a time, and training
grounds are closed during upgrades.
If you really do not have enough horseshoes and
want a cheaper way of training, you may want to train on the lowest
possibility. That possibility will cost 20 horseshoes per training and
give 2 points, plus the amount of points you get extra for your training
facilities. For this to be most profitable, you need a high level
training facility that gives a lot of extra training points. Every level
of a training facility gives one extra point. If you continue to train
your horse on the lowest possibility, you will even save a lot of
horseshoes in the long run. Training once max non-intensive on a level 5
training course towards a full level (level 13) will cost 1530
horseshoes. If you train on that same course only on the lowest
possibility, you will spend roughly 1300 shoes once your horse has
reached the same full level. The only downside of this strategy is that
it will take you days, even weeks to train 1 horse and thus it will take
months to get a high level horse following the steps above.
Once you select a horse
from the Riding circle,
Show Jumping Course or
the Riding Arena ring menu, you may see 3 different
progress bars - one for each attribute. These progress bars display the
current attribute level and how many training points are left to advance
to the next attribute level.►
At the bottom of the training
interface, you will find a slider to choose how
many horseshoes you would like to invest on
training - the amount of horseshoes used
determines if training
is classified as regular
or intensive.
Now what does max non-intensive mean? If you open
a training facility (in the example
arenas are all level 10), you see a slider. That slider can be
moved to the right and at some point it will change from non-intensive
brown to intensive orange
color. Right before that color change, you should stop sliding
and start the training. That is your maximum non-intensive point.
Training intensive will only use up many more horseshoes for little gain
in levels for your horse. If you are swimming in horseshoes that is
fine, but to save horseshoes max non-intensive is a better idea. In a
picture.►
Upgrades of each training arena up until level 5 will push the transition from
regular to intensive training farther to the
right side of the slider, making the training
less straining for your horse and more effective
in terms of horseshoes spent for training point
gains.

A low level horse gains very little levels when
you train it twice. When your horse is higher level, you may consider
training it several times before breeding, since it will gain more
levels in the second (and third etc.) training, but not as many as a new
foal would.
Training full levels is better than partial
levels if you get the horse ready for breeding, since partial levels
will only be lost in the breeding process. I would recommend staying in
non-intensive though, unless it is just a bit into the intensive area to
get to the next full level.
The Gas Station is available only

Small Amount of Fuel
8 units of fuel for $24,000 farm cash
Can buy up to 3 each day (Reset is midnight Eastern Time on US server)
Total daily cost = 72,000
dollars for 24 units of fuel (enough for 2 extra competitions)
TIP:
Consider this every day
if you have plenty of
farm cash. It is a
fairly inexpensive way
to get in several extra
competitions over the
course of the Season.
Large Amount of Fuel
16 units of fuel for 150 gold
Can buy up to 3 each day (Reset is midnight Eastern Time on US server)
Total daily cost = 450 gold for 48 units of fuel (enough for 4 extra competitions)
TIP:
This will seem most effective as you move into higher
classes and see difficulty advancing. It was the only way I could
personally get into Diamond League from Platinum. You can get in many
extra competitions over the course of the Season.
Small Refill Can
+1 units of fuel per hour for 24 hours for 48,000 farm cash.
Countdown timer will extend by 24 hours with each purchase with the limit being the end of the Season.
Total
daily cost = 48,000
dollars for 24 units of
fuel (enough for 2 extra
competitions)
TIP:
Consider this if you
have plenty of farm cash
and like to race more
often. One nice benefit
is that you can buy
several days in advance.
Large Refill Can
+2 units of fuel per hour for 24 hours for 300 gold.
Countdown timer will extend by 24 hours with each purchase with the limit being the end of the Season.
Total daily cost = 300 gold for 48 units of fuel (enough for 4 extra competitions)
TIP:
Consider this if you have plenty of gold and like to race
more often. One nice benefit is that you can buy several days in
advance.
Small Tank Upgrade
Raise you fuel tank capacity to 150 units (standard tank holds 100 units) for 9,900 gold.
Capacity will remain increased through the entire Season.
Total cost = 9,900 gold (lasts one Season)
TIP:
This once per season purchase insures you will not "lose
fuel" overnight or while at work, when your fuel tank reaches its limit.
Consider this if you have the gold in your budget, cannot play every
7.6 (with refills activated) - 10 hours (without refills activated), and
don't like losing fuel when you cannot play. A nice benefit is that
when you only have tough players in your queue, you can afford to wait
for your competition to reset without fearing your fuel tank will reach
its limit.
Large Tank Upgrade
Raise you fuel tank capacity to 300 units (standard tank holds 100 units) for 14,900 gold.
Capacity will remain increased through the entire Season.
Total cost = 14,900 gold (lasts one Season)
TIP:
This once per season purchase insures you will not "lose
fuel" if you cannot play for several hours, or even a whole day, when
your fuel tank reaches its limit. If you first purchase the Small Tank
Upgrade, this upgrade will be offered for only 4,900 additional gold - a
net savings of 1000 gold!
To gain a breeding effect every time you breed, you need horses that are trained to these benchmark levels: 10, 20, 35, 50, 70,
90.
Every one of these levels will give you an extra breeding effect slot on your foal.
In the
Horse market (or
shop as the window
states) you can buy horses for gold and/or competition horseshoes.
You need to have trained
a horse to level 40 for
the horse market to
unlock.
The
horses in the shop are
mostly low level. Now
and then you will be
offered higher leveled
horses but that will
depend on the level of
your highest horse in
the stable. When my
horse was level 69 I
would only see horses
level 28 and lower. When
my horse turned level 70
they started offering
level 32 and lower.
The horses you can buy usually have better breeding qualities and effects than a horse that you breed or train.
Like everything else you
will have to pay gold
for a really good horse
although the selected
horse in the image is
not bad. The only
downfall is you will
have to train it up to
level 35 before breeding
to get the extra
breeding effect slot.
Larino: "Whether
it's worth it or not to
buy a horse is the
question. They are
pretty expensive and
they do not have such
amazing traits that you
gain a huge advantage. I personally still think buying a
horse in the stable for 10 golden horseshoes and training and breeding
it as explained in the
Horsebreeding 101
article is the best way
to go."
I do not
have any comment on that
at this time. Once I get
this Goldy level 70 to
breed with my main I
plan to test out Larino's Horsebreeding 101
and I'll keep you
informed.
◄
This is the result so
far of buying horses
from the Horse shop and
breeding them along the
way. This Goldy was a
new foal from level 50
parents. Each
set of parents
were bought from
the market with
competition

league:
There are no stages in the diamond league & no rewards such as
the ones in the above
leagues.
Once you get in
here, all you see is a list of other diamond league
players ranked in order of how many points they have (you cannot see how
many points they have).
The end of season rewards that all diamond
league players get are: deco, skin, trophy, 2x GML, all of the titles
& avatars for the season (from all the leagues + 1 more) In
addition, the player ranked #1 gets a unique title & avatar &
the players ranked 1-10 have their points total saved & compete to
be one of the top 10 point scorers for the whole year in the Hall of
Fame.

personal account. The mine will transfer this combination into precious
stones or gold nuggets. Do note, you will not actually receive these
precious stones or gold nuggets, but you will receive the money they sell for. This means, when you harvest the mine, you will get 4,000 dollars
or gold. Without upgrading the mine with gold it takes 48 hours to run it.

ADVICE:
Before you spend that
98,500 gold to upgrade
the mine to level 5
take a minute or two to
think about it my
friends. You will
have to mine for gold 50 TIMES to
get your money back. Do you
honestly think it is
worth it just to get
your 2,000 free gold one day sooner?
I say no! My Mine is
still level 2 and I have
had my farm for almost 2 years now
and it will remain at
level 2.
To
be honest the only time I ever buy gold is when
I get this hot deal that offers Gold Mine
licenses. ►
Some times I am lucky enough to catch
it during a 2 for 1 deal.
Doubling your gold in the mineby
Larino
If you divide your 50,000 gold by 2000 (the amount the
mine needs to run with one mining license) you get 25, almost the exact
number of mining
licenses you received. So you can run your mine 26
times, each time using 2000 gold to make 4000 gold. If you persevere and
use up all your 26 mining
licenses over 52 days (assuming you don’t upgrade your
mine with gold it will take 48 hours, which is 2 days, per mining
license), you will eventually have more than doubled your gold from
50,000 to 102,000. Apart from the new +100% and +200% exclusive deals
that are out there now, this is the only way to more than double the
gold you buy.
Still, the most regular offer on prime day which gives
a flat out bonus, is +50%. So if you want to buy gold, there are
basically four good options when to do so:
Buying it when there is a +50% prime day, this is a common offer so you don’t have to wait that long.
Buying it when there is a +100% prime day, this is
very exclusive and waiting for it to show up might take a long time.
Buying it when there is a gold mining licenses prime
day, this is more common but since it takes 52 days for your gold to
double up you will have to be patient and you won’t get your 102,000
gold for a while.
Lately there is even a fourth way that will more than
double your gold. There has been an offer to buy gold for a 200% bonus.
This offer is quite rare, but it may just happen to you some day!
But whatever choice you make, make one of these 4 when

Rose will give you tasks that guide you through the unlocking process for each building. In order to get the first horse ranch task, you need to be level 16 and have finished the first ship task that asks you to provide goods for one of the ship slots.
NOTE: The temporary island farms are very expensive, so if your permanent farms are NOT built up enough to maintain a steady income of say 4 million or more a day then you should hold off on doing any of the temp farms. There are other ways to get needed horseshoes and start training your horses. Just to mention a few, any of the Hard Worker events and the Cooperative Championship or just by filling Organic market contracts.
Thanks to this post written by Larino, Alabaster, Pingo and Aedman, because I'm far from a horse expert.
Your Stable will introduce Goldy as your first horse. Each time you level your stable you will unlock another stall. With each unlocked stall, you will be able to purchase a horse with 10 competition horseshoes. Just click on an empty box and choose a new horse to purchase.
Through the competition transporter, you may access the competition menu, from which you can choose opponents and take part in competitions.
Do note: It is important to understand that you only win points when you challenge somebody else and win. And you only lose points when somebody else challenges you and you lose.

that are trained to these benchmark levels: 10, 20, 35, 50, 70, 90.
Lester Crowley will challenge you in a dressage competition with his horse Dusty. Old George’s horse Minnie is a great show jumper and he is ready to challenge you in this discipline. Finally Tessa Townsend would like to try to outrun you in a racing competition with her horse Dakota.
Whether you win or lose is determined by your horse’s level and the character’s level. Every time you win, their level will go up until they win. On winning you get golden horseshoes, which can be used to upgrade your training facilities. When you lose a cool down will be triggered and you can only attempt to challenge them again after the cool down has run out.
Meanwhile, train your horse in one of the three characteristics: agility, strength and endurance. For now your horse can only go up to level 10. For the training you need horseshoes. If you decide to do an intensive training it will cost more horseshoes per point, but you also get more points in the 4 hours the training takes. You can use the slider to decide how many horseshoes you can and want to pay for this training session. More info about training can be found in the Horsebreeding 101 article.
Right now it is also possible to race against other players. Race seasons run for about a month with a week of rest in between. You need to race against other players to get tournament points. The more points you have, the higher up you get in the leagues. There is a bronze, silver, gold and platinum league in which you need certain amounts of points to move up. If you end the season in one of these leagues, you get extra prizes besides the prizes you already won from moving up in the league itself. A league has 5 stages. If you manage to win against 50 players in platinum league, you move into the diamond league. Once in diamond, you cannot drop out any more.
To win points, you need to win while challenging others. Losing against others you challenged will only give you a few competition horseshoes, winning will give many more horseshoes and 4 tournament points. To be able to challenge others, you need fuel. You can see the amount of fuel you have bottom left (red circle on the picture above). The maximum amount you can have (without buying a larger fuel tank) is 100. Fuel will replenish by 10 every hour. The timer indicates how much time is left before it replenishes and the +10 shows how much fuel replenishes every hour. (I bought a booster on the picture above, so mine says +11). You need 12 fuel to race against one other player.
If you want to buy fuel instead of waiting for it to replenish, you can go to the gas station (click the green button with the white plus on the fuel bar). The first option allows you to buy 3 sets of 8 fuel for dollars. You can only buy 3 sets every 24 hours; this will reset at midnight CET, the same time the day resets on the game for other elements as well. In addition you are allowed to buy another 3 sets of 16 fuel with gold if you want – this also resets every day. The second set of options allows you to buy a replenishment booster. The first booster that costs dollars will add 1 fuel to the amount that replenishes each hour (so now 11 fuel replenishes each hour as you can see in the picture above, it says +11 in green). This booster runs for 24 hours. This run time stacks when you buy the booster several times (so buying it twice will run it for 48 hours). The second booster costs gold and will replenish 2 extra per hour (so +12). This one will also run for 24 hours and again that run time stacks. The last set you can buy enlarges your fuel tank. This influences the maximum amount of fuel you can carry. Normally this is 100, but with the first pack it will be 150. The second pack will even enlarge your tank to be able to carry 300 fuel. Both packs cost gold and will only be valid for one racing season. So when a new season starts your tank will be reset to 100.

The prizes you can win while moving up in the leagues exist of dollars, extra fuel, tokens, mystery boxes, horseshoes and seaweed materials. When you stick in the league until the end of the season you can win an amount of gold, a title, some avatars and a trophy. In diamond you also get a unique golden stallion decoration (4×4, 60 happiness). You can view the prizes you will get on the first tab of the notice board. Use the large green arrows to flick through the leagues and the small brown arrows in the league prize section to flick through the different prizes you will get when you end up in that league at the end of the season. In the top left corner you can see for how much longer the season will be running and in the top right corner you can see in which league you are and how many points you have. I am currently in the Gold I league, only a few points away from Platinum V. Next to the season prizes display you can see how many points you get for a win and how many points you lose when others challenge you and you lost against them in the league you selected.
Once you successfully finished a season and you got all your season prizes, you can view them on the third tab of the notice board. You can choose which title you want to be shown when others challenge you and which avatar you want others to see. Do note, this avatar will also be shown on your farm above your username (where usually a barn picture is shown). You can set your trophy on the trophy stand on the horse farm (located next to the horse shop).

If training is in section the remaining training time will be displayed in the training arena's ring menu and in the respective training interface.
Each training takes a fixed amount of time that can be skipped using gold.
Once the training is over, you may collect all earned training points in the training interface and start a new one right away if you desire.
Once you select a horse in the stable menu, you may see 3 different progress bars - one for each attribute. These progress bars display the current attribute level and how many training points are left to advance to the next attribute level.
From there, as well as through each of the training grounds' ring menus, you may access the respective training interface:
Once you select a training interface, all horse attributes will be displayed, but the attribute you are about to train will be highlighted so you can be sure you selected the right training method for the attribute you would like to improve.
Only one horse may be trained on each training ground, each horse may only train one attribute at a time, and training grounds are closed during upgrades.
If you really do not have enough horseshoes and want a cheaper way of training, you may want to train on the lowest possibility. That possibility will cost 20 horseshoes per training and give 2 points, plus the amount of points you get extra for your training facilities. For this to be most profitable, you need a high level training facility that gives a lot of extra training points. Every level of a training facility gives one extra point. If you continue to train your horse on the lowest possibility, you will even save a lot of horseshoes in the long run. Training once max non-intensive on a level 5 training course towards a full level (level 13) will cost 1530 horseshoes. If you train on that same course only on the lowest possibility, you will spend roughly 1300 shoes once your horse has reached the same full level. The only downside of this strategy is that it will take you days, even weeks to train 1 horse and thus it will take months to get a high level horse following the steps above.
At the bottom of the training interface, you will find a slider to choose how many horseshoes you would like to invest on training - the amount of horseshoes used determines if training is classified as regular or intensive.
Now what does max non-intensive mean? If you open a training facility (in the example arenas are all level 10), you see a slider. That slider can be moved to the right and at some point it will change from non-intensive brown to intensive orange color. Right before that color change, you should stop sliding and start the training. That is your maximum non-intensive point. Training intensive will only use up many more horseshoes for little gain in levels for your horse. If you are swimming in horseshoes that is fine, but to save horseshoes max non-intensive is a better idea. In a picture.►
Upgrades of each training arena up until level 5 will push the transition from regular to intensive training farther to the right side of the slider, making the training less straining for your horse and more effective in terms of horseshoes spent for training point gains.
A low level horse gains very little levels when you train it twice. When your horse is higher level, you may consider training it several times before breeding, since it will gain more levels in the second (and third etc.) training, but not as many as a new foal would.
Training full levels is better than partial levels if you get the horse ready for breeding, since partial levels will only be lost in the breeding process. I would recommend staying in non-intensive though, unless it is just a bit into the intensive area to get to the next full level.
The Gas Station is available only during each Horse Competition Season. It is not necessary to purchase anything from the gas station, but some of these items can be very helpful in assuring you have a great Season and achieve your goal of making it into the elite league of your choice.

You need to have trained a horse to level 40 for the horse market to unlock.
The horses in the shop are mostly low level. Now and then you will be offered higher leveled horses but that will depend on the level of your highest horse in the stable.
When my horse was level 69 I would only see horses level 28 and lower. When my horse turned level 70 they started offering level 32 and lower.
Larino: "Whether it's worth it or not to buy a horse is the question. They are pretty expensive and they do not have such amazing traits that you gain a huge advantage. I personally still think buying a horse in the stable for 10 golden horseshoes and training and breeding it as explained in the Horsebreeding 101 article is the best way to go."
I do not have any comment on that at this time. Once I get this Goldy level 70 to breed with my main I plan to test out Larino's Horsebreeding 101 and I'll keep you informed.

Every time you start the Mine, it uses up 2,000 dollars or gold, depending on the mining license you use. These dollars or gold are used from your personal account. The mine will transfer this combination into precious stones or gold nuggets. Do note, you will not actually receive these precious stones or gold nuggets,
but you will receive the money they sell for. This means, when
you harvest the mine, you will get 4,000 dollars or gold. Without upgrading the mine with gold it takes 48 hours to run it.
ADVICE: Before you spend that 98,500 gold to upgrade the mine
to level 5 take a minute or two to think about it my friends. You
will have to mine for gold 50 TIMES to get your money back. Do
you honestly think it is worth it just to get your 2,000 free gold
one day sooner? I say no! My Mine is still level 2 and I have had
my farm for almost 2 years now and it will remain at level 2.
A regular mining license randomly drops from your Windmill. Keep working your farm and you will see it appear.
For now, the gold mining license can be obtained or bought in several ways.
To be honest the only time I ever buy gold is when I get this hot deal that offers Gold Mine licenses. ►
Some times I am lucky enough to catch it during a 2 for 1 deal.
