Dear Community,
On December 20th it was discovered that a bug in the game allowed users to sell certain products at many times their value, in some cases gaining dollar amounts that far exceed the amount ever expected to be gained. As a result, the gained dollars were removed from users and many users also received a ban. We would like to apologise for the bans that were placed and inform you that those bans are being lifted. The action taken was heavy-handed and also affected a small amount of users who had not used the bug to gain large amounts of farm dollars. We are especially apologetic to those players, it was not our intent to punish users who had gained dollars legitimately and we are sorry to any who felt victimised and had not performed any action to justify the response.
Additionally, we apologise to all those who received a ban - while the mass selling of products and resulting gain of dollars is very harmful to the game, the player base and the economy of the game, it is also true that the issue was introduced by us. It is important to note that a large injection of dollars into player accounts, such as occurred as a result of this bug, can cause inflation in the economy which can be damaging for all players. Dollars gained through the bug will not be returned, and the bans will be lifted as soon as possible. As the process of unbanning accounts can take a little time we have begun the process and are also looking for ways we can speed it up for you as well. It should be complete by the end of today for all players.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove items purchased by players and this was the initial reason for placing the ban. In future we intend to be more open and clear when such issues are found in the game, advising users specifically not to use bugs that could cause damage to the game and the community of players. We will also communicate that bans may be placed in future for use of such bugs, but in this case the action taken was not well communicated, and for that the community team sincerely apologises for the mistake. It has been quite a year for all of us, players and Goodgame staff alike. The road has not been a smooth one and we are sorry for the issues you have faced. We have already put in place efforts to make improvements in the game and with our communication in 2018. Such improvements can take time to become fully apparent but we are confident that with more time for building features, and more focus on testing and polishing those features we will be able to provide you all with a smoother and less frustrating experience.
We are sorry about the impact of the last few days, we are dedicated to improving and taking on your feedback as best we can. It is our hope that we can keep improving and making positive adjustments, adding well-functioning and fun features to the game. Thank you all sincerely!

No hace mucho tiempo, hubo en el juego un hecho que causó que algunos jugadores pudieran ganar una gran cantidad de farmdólares en poco tiempo, más de lo que podía imaginarse. Aunque el problema fue solucionado, hubo bastantes jugadores que aprovecharon el tiempo que tardó en repararse. Como resultado, tomamos la decisión de banear a los jugadores que usaron este problema de una forma exagerada. Después revisamos esta decisión y fue revocada ya que vimos que el problema no fue necesáreamente una trampa sino más bien un bug no intencionado de una actualización de ese día.
No se van a tomar medidas adicionales con respecto a los jugadores que usaron ese bug para ganar farmdólares. Los farmdólares que obtuvieron se eliminaron pero el tiempo y los recursos que se necesitarían para eliminar otros artículos comprados con esos farmdólares serían demasiados para que podamos tomar medidas adicionales, así que dejamos el asunto zanjado aquí. Nos disculpamos por el error inicial y la forma en que se manejó el problema al principio. Nuestro objetivo es manejar situaciones como esta de una forma mucho mejor en el futuro.
Tened en cuenta que los moderadores del foro deben apoyar las normas del foro y, por lo tanto, deben banear si se nombra o señala a otra persona. Varios jugadores de todo el mundo recibieron un baneo y se les quitaron esos farmdólares de su cuenta. Como no hay más acciones que podamos realizar, no podemos enviar castigos adicionales a los jugadores o ninguna compensación adicional para aquellos que no usaron el error.
