If all your horses are named Goldy, you can easy be confused which horse is a new horse and which horse is an old horse, if you have both an new and a old horse with the same level with the same name. To make the best use of the bonus points (and horse shoes) you need to train little & often. If you have a level 10 arena & you do maximum normal training you use 2000 shoes and get 200 +10 points (which is 5%), but if you use 20 shoes you get 2+10 points (500%). I agree, the Wizard of Oz horse season is absurd. I also don't agree that training your horse makes a lot of difference.
