April Update - The Obsidian Farm

Hello Farmers,

Notice how it’s been getting warmer around your farm? Obviously, the seasons are changing but we have something in store for you this update and it’s hot hot hot. The Obsidian Farm is in the works and you can help our researchers to make it habitable for plants, animals and your new farmhouse! Let’s get into it.

 

The Research Lab opens

In order to make sure our Obsidian Farm project is a success, we need research! Your farmhouse now contains the freshly installed research lab. Your first research involves an upgrade to your lab and farmhouse to level 11. This enables you to go deeper into the craft and allows you to research several things via progression trees. Among the things you can then research is the Obsidian Farm which opens once you finish your research on it.

To start researching, you will need obsidian, which can be earned from Farmer’s League participation rewards. It might take a little until you can start and finish the big Obsidian Farm project but trust me, it will be worth it!

 

What does the Obsidian Farm do?

Once you open the gates to the Obsidian Farm and start farming over there, you will notice it’s a permanent farm! Start farming and you’ll be able to set up new orchards to make dragon fruit and plums or raise orcas and lizards!

You’ll be able to produce seeds, humus and more, first unlocked via the research lab, and use them on your other farms. In essence, the Obsidian Farm is a major supporter of your other main farms and improves your farming life massively.

There will be more information on the Obsidian Farm soon. The closer the first farmers get into the research project, the more information will be released.

Don’t miss announcements!

Something new is happening! The event is starting! Wait, how come nobody told me? - Did you ever feel like this? Well, no more. We are adding an announcement notifier. In case you ever clicked one of the announcements away by accident, you don’t have to reload the game again just to see it. Just hit the button instead and all recent announcements will pop up! This is what changing from letters to email must have felt like.

When you click on the notifier icon and close the dialog again, the icon disappears until a new announcement is available. If you click “don’t show this message again” in the dialog, the icon does not appear again with the same announcements on the next login like it usually would.

 
Golden Sales Part 2!

Along with the update, we are updating the Golden Sales offer with exciting new items. Get two new temporary spring boosting skins for your fertile acres. Bugs fixed in this Update

• Fixed issue in which the scroll up buttons are missing in the ranking list at the end of the farmer's league
•  Bestseller shop: Fixed an issue which showed an error message when buying something multiple times quickly within the bestseller shop exceeding its storage limit instead of greying out the "buy-button" once the limit is reached
• The Dairy: Fixed an issue where XP are not added from dairy drops until reloading the game
• Fixed an issue in the coop tournament where the global results loading dialog loaded forever until closed manually despite results being already in and loaded
• Horse Ranch: Fixed issue of incorrectly displayed text on the hall of fame notice board
• Fixed an issue in which the customer bubble at the market garden slides downwards while hovering over it

• Fixed an issue where wildflower special seed production grants too many points during Hardworker event
