  • I did an analysis a while back, and it was definitely worth it to upgrade your boats. You easily make back the money spent. Also note, when you destroy the boats as you move up to higher level boats, you get some of your money back.
  • Where specifically has GGS or their representative said that everything purchased with gold in BF is permanent? I have always taken gold as just another currency in the game. It is hard to get, especially if you don't spend real money in the game, but otherwise works much like other types of currency. I can buy boosts in…
  • Yes, I meant XP as something paid out by an Organics Market contract affecting the amount of cash you would receive from the same contract, not the amount of experience the player has. ...Darn English language
  • Thanks for bringing this up @"Bennet Drake (US1)". This confirms something I mentioned as a possibility in a previous message. I feel bad to see this happen.
  • @"Heather Norsk (US1)", I really appreciate the updates. It might be nice if this was combined in a table, much like Southern had done. On a related note, someone posted the following about ordinary contracts (from the Organics Market, not the Fishing Market) in the BF Discord Server. Maybe this isn't relevant to this…
  • On BF Discord, they said they had only rolled it out to certain servers, so maybe it hasn't shown up on yours yet.
  • From what I've read, if you bought gold with real money, then the account stays around until the end of the game. Otherwise, you have at least 6 months before they delete your account.
  • Neat! I haven't noticed that. @"Mathias (US1)", if your member paid real money for gold in the game, their farm will be around until the end of the game, as I understand. If not, other posts in the Forum indicate that after 6 months, GGS can delete the account, though I think I've read that they are not very quick about…
  • My mine says you can get licenses, but there are gold mining licenses (GML) and regular mining licenses. As I recall, regular mining licenses (which get you 4000 in cash) will occasionally pop out as a by product from the mills, kind of like water drops do from harvesting crops.
  • @"Bennet Drake (US1)" For the horse event, Platinum League earns 1 GML, and Gold League awards 300 gold--I've not gotten to the Diamond League yet. What's the PP shop?
  • @"Heather Norsk (US1)" and @"farmerjohn 22 (US1)", good catches. I forgot about Omar, and I didn't realize the Gold Mystery Box had GMLs (I get so few of those boxes). I figured my list wasn't comprehensive, but there are a lot of smart players out there that can fill in the holes.
  • They are hard to earn/find, but some sources that I know of are: * Random prize from normal Mystery Boxes. * Earn one at finishing in the Platinum level of a horse racing event. * Earn them in the Shinkei Suijaki School. * Earn one when completing the horse farm side task to get a horse to quality level 2 (I'm still…
  • My fall coins did not disappear, so I expect the spring coins will stay around too.
  • Yes, Greta's is this week's DW. They announced a change a few days back to the events.
  • For those who are not experiencing the ads yet, here are my observations-- There are kind of only two ads blocking the game field above. The one in the lower left can be removed by clicking the 'X' above it; I find it might take it a couple of seconds to recognize you've clicked it; it will return though after so many…
  • With the recent change, this no longer works. In fact, you are now given two options--buy something to remove the ads, or the game automatically will turn off Adblock Plus for you. This is the first time I've seen where a site will turn off Adblock Plus by itself; every other time, I was given instructions and it was up…
  • I note that if the player used specific fishing equipment so as to only get one type of fish from the pool, or there were not as many types of fish left in the pool when a boat is sent out (example, only herring is left from a tuna/herring pool), they can't tell what each boat will be returning with when the player comes…
  • As far as I remember, the repeat harvester has always cost gold in the normal (not Dream) world and on Greta's Dream World. Only on Tessa's Dream Worlds does it work for free. Here is a picture from my Gourmet Farm showing it costing gold:
  • Here's what works for me: I have Adblock Plus running. Just having it removes the ads, but leaves the white borders, BUT if you go to options and turn on 'Only allow ads without third-party tracking', this removes the white borders as well. I restarted the game a few minutes ago and this was still working. I hate to relay…
  • Yes. I restarted my computer, and while things improved, it is still taking some time to get things done.
