Actually, a question now I think of it: If you max out the upgrades for the jetty, but then it's delevelled, how can you ever regain what you lost since you can't upgrade it?
-
I'd still like to think that completing the level-up requirements (after a loss of level[s]) would bump the jetty back up to where it would have been. Sure, you might have lost 10 levels and are back down to level 1, but with the donation requirements to reach level 11, you'd get back up to level 11 as soon as you complete…

. So Data King (US1) said: The cooperative had maintained level 2 jetty for almost 2 years now. We were fine, but sometimes life happens in the worst possible way. (In our case, one of our members sadly passed away) We didn't have any plans on actually upgrading to level 3 for the reasons stated. Too expensive to do that.…

My main gripe with the losing a level of the jetty is that the materials required to get it back to level 2 remain unchanged from the requirements to get it to level 3. That's quite expensive as it is, and from what I recall is almost twice as expensive as going from level 1 to level 2. Like others observed, there's not a…

It would be nice if after pigs/dogs maxes out, further chips collected in them gave a percentage boost on village happiness after the unlock for collecting all 12 sorts of chips. Or maybe boosting other cooperative members who haven't quite managed to collect all of the required chips at a reduced rate or similar.

Like others on the GB1 server, the wishlist event ended early. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was 1 collection away from completing it before the early changeover and fifty gold to finish it is nothing. Not being able to complete it denied any opportunity to work on the fifth decoration unless one paid several thousand…

UK1 got moved to chapter 5, a day ahead of schedule. Hopefully it's just this one server but it's still pants to find out you're on the affected one. I wonder if that means they'll unlock chapter 4 for us. Somehow with most staff on vacation time, I have my doubts.

Gah....! I admit (like my previous post) that I never read the previous comments. But this ... THIS... I saw and felt obliged to reply to. It applies to most games. #1 GGS will always do their best to balance pay against play. (It's any business model) #2 GGS will always listen to opinions. They know of them, but they…

*skips LOTS of posts about changes* I can't say I have the patience to read all the comments. I imagine it's split. I'm split. The previous ease was not good for long-term balance. Yet as it stands, it's not good for maintaining interest is the way I feel about it. The fish market needs changing ... or (ideally) the…

Is there a possible bug with the hard worker event? Packing at speed 10 when I packed lobsters and Salmon didn't produce the result I expected. Or has it changed? For example when it was running at speed 9, there was nearly 4 hours of time to run, but as soon as I unloaded a boat that put it to speed 10, it dropped down to…

Yes, they're motorboats in English too :) The money from fish is very nice. It's worth persevering with. It took me a while to understand how it works. Best advice I can give is DO NOT put specific-fish equipment in your boat. I used to, until realising I didn't need to. That can (and will) result in 1 (or no) fish caught…

Similar here, dropped down to rank 17. Clawed my way back up to some degree. It was why I thought it was broken, I was expecting maybe 5 times more difficult (original hard worker is 3 times more difficult going to speed 10) , but 80 times more difficult made me wonder if it was broken. 8 times more difficult is hard but…

Quite so! I'm glad it was looked at a second time to reassure us. Also ... try freshly squeezed shrimp-ade chum. I've got bushels to spare. @"Scifi (GB1)" - I shake my fist at your 9 points whilst I tried running at 10 points and falling flat on my proverbial face. Twice I was in second place, twice I tried lobsters and…

@露草 - again a nice chart  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for looking into this. It's appreciated. Personally whilst I like the transition from 8 to 10 to be more even to not seem like you're stepping off a cliff (which is what made it seem broken), and would encourage more variation of speed and competition in the top ranks (and make people work harder for the top ranks)…

It's probably worth persevering with it if you can. Fish are valuable commodities. Try catching lobster for example. You won't need lobster pots, but you need crew to extend your time whilst fishing, and probably could do with crew to increase the catch rate per hour. Other crew to speed journey time to and from the…

Corvid (GB1) said: I'm familiar with the usual hard worker event, rarely manage to push to 10 points but I have on occasion. The figures posted are pretty much what I'm seeing. Except that when you can have tune running for 15 hours at speed 10, then you go from 38+ hours of lobsters (at speed 9) down to 40 minutes at…

Looking at those figures, I can see why I'd think the figures for lobster and salmon were so odd compared to those of Tuna... and apparently Herring. The figures seem to back up my experience, whether that's what was intended is another matter. If you look at the 'minimum time' for Tuna and Herring and compare it to those…

I'm glad Herring might not seem to be affected. I'm on herring at present! So it'd be nice to run it at speed 10 and compare it - and reassure myself that I'm not imagining things too.
