I see what you are saying, and if I look at it simply I would agree. IMHO the island was intended to help keep higher level players busy. It's expensive, time consuming, and uses up resources/time from the main farms. The devs may have "tied" the island into the farms, but not playing the island does not affect the main…

I cannot begin to tell you how handy this is, especially at higher levels. I was able to redesign my main farm with only 2 of the little tiny squares left. I don't think it's gonna get any better. Thank you! :) Attachment not found.
