  • Aye, I understand. And I thank you for your timely response. I'll probably just take a break for a while; playing daily for this long may have made me more attached to the game than I should be.
  • My wife and I have always worried about it happening to one of us (being non-gold buyers, we're mighty tight with the gold ggs kindly allows us to collect each weak.) These last few weeks both computers we play on have been mis-registering mouseclicks, often selecting something forty to fifty pixels away and today it got…
  • Manette, try highlighting the text, It'll be red on sky blue, which ma help, or- heck; Task 1- If you dont have two cherry orchard. Build one additional just for this task. Task 2- N/A Task 3-Dont spend the rice got as reward from the previous tasks... Use them in this task. Task 4-Dont harvest the cherry before Task…
  • I started the cranes late last night, and I'm already over halfway there. Running composter and silo as close to non-stop as possible; and focusing on corn/chickenfeed. I expect to finish the fifth task well within the timeframe. Keep up the hard work!
  • The 1000 cranes for all levels isn't a mistake. In Japanese culture the folding of 1000 origami cranes (called Senbazuru) is a monumental task, one that- once completed- is said to grant the person folding them a wish. As such folding a thousand cranes as a gift to someone who is sick is a powerful indication of ones…
  • Here's my two cents: I'd say the sheep are a solid guess, with giving wool fitting the overall feel of the game. The next question would be going the other direction; what do you feed them? They could add a hay/alfalfa option to the fields, or a secondary use of corn; but I wonder about balance issues there. Another…
  • Also; though I fear stepping on the tender happiness toes of anyone involved, if my cobbled-together spreadsheet is right, your buildings will require 15 houses (assuming 5 fields and 9 cherry orchards). The cumulative footprint of all these buildings comes to 1649 squares before decorations. The housing hit to happiness…
  • @ ElizabethK, I'm not sure if you're still reading this thread, or if this is the proper place to post this but if you're running gold-less as I, be aware that the silo presents a second chokepoint; one that may alter your plans. You mention wanting 9 orchards, and while I realize you didn't mention what your distribution…
  • I wonder if there would be a way to quantify which of the farms would benefit most from this and other, less universal space-saving items like Event reward decorations. Perhaps a profit per square average of each farm?
  • Bonbona6, just plant the rice you get as quest rewards. No gold needed.
  • Eeech... I'm not 100% sure off the cuff, but the last time I looked at the value of the level 1 premium (blue) houses, I thought it was a small loss against level 3 normal ones. Your numbers look decent at first blush, it may come down to level of decor available. Let me crunch some numbers: Looking at it in extrema lvl 1…
  • Aye, if you look at the info '?' on the quest it states "You can find breadcrumbs when harvesting the fields and orchards on your main farm" Though after running chicken coops nearly non stop to keep up with my fields, I have found that they can (very rarely) give a +8 breadcrumb. Best of luck to all!
  • Cant really expect a level 19 decoration to outdo every other cash decoration in the game in happiness per square. Was an obvious slip; I'm just impressed they caught it as quick as they did.
  • At level 30 the quest grants me a medium waterfall, with 22 firewood required for the first step and 40 xp reward. At level 48 it offers my wife a large waterfall, with the first quest asking for 26 firewood giving 50 xp. She's only three away, so we'll find out soon if she's got the 4100 apple quest or the 5050 one. I've…
  • Aye Daytona, that'd be exactly the thing I'd need. I noticed it early enough that I'm fairly certain it isn't just a matter of the star hiding the rollover, as one quest should have put me around 1/4 of the way through the next level when I was lower. I'll keep plowing through the forums. Thanks for the heads up!
  • If you've just recently completed the quest to build the cherry orchard, or still aren't producing enough fertilizer to keep apples and cherries up and running at the same time, you might consider bulldozing your cherries for now. Anything left idle is simply taking up space, and the profit per fertilizer is higher on the…
  • I wish I could recall if houses took 10+ minutes when I first began. I don't feel like they took that long, but honestly don't remember. I do know that the flowerbed took less than a minute, then just over (1:06) and now takes 4:30. As I alluded to in my first post, it could be correlated to level, but it might also be…
  • While possible, I doubt it. Some of the earlier levels I was turning in quests that granted 1/4 of the required points, while only needing a handful to advance. While the requirements do increase, they don't do so at such a rate to trivialize such exp gains. If it is just a graphical bug, I can more than understand and…
  • I've noticed the build time of decorations have gone up over the course of my playing, I'm not sure if it is tied to level, or some other factor. Has anyone else noticed/have a correlation to increasing build times? I'm aware that the farmhouse reduces build time, but that being held constant, I've seen some things…
  • I'm more of a twice-a-day player, and I still find apples more profitable than cherries. While fertilizer production is low, profit can often be calculated more by income per fertilizer. lvl 1 Cherries- 220/harvest, 180$ ea. Gross profit 39,600$ At 3 fertilizer per run that is 13,200$ per fertilizer lvl 1 Apples-…
