I think this applies to all the produce that isn't used in bakery - wheat, corn, cabbage, all of the flower farm meadow products. Don't know if it means anything other than the bakery doesn't use it.

So what is the point of having goats and ducks? Duck feed costs a lot more to make than chicken feed and cowsheds make more than enough milk to run both the flower shop and the bakery. And I didn't mind falling back on the other flower shop products when I was out of cream; it's sort of pointless if you're only ever making…
-
Well, they already did tamper with it - by replacing cream and goat milk with cow's milk. That's the kind of simple change I've suggested, maybe with the addition of a new product - but certainly not a revamp.
-
The workshop reduces the amount of goods used by the mill, on the main farm; by the watermill, on the gourmet farm; and by the distillery on the flower farm. I don't believe it has any effect on the amount of goods used by the bakery or flower shop.

I think it was an honest mistake. The losses from the bakery are so heavy I'm going backwards by making and selling bakery products. It couldn't have been intended that way.

The ducks and donkeys are cute, I like those additions. I like having the peaches too. And I can see the value in replacing 3 buildings (restaurant, bakery and dairy) with just one. Obviously the balance calculations for the bakery were badly off course, but I'm assuming that's going to be fixed ... otherwise the bakery is…

I like this update. It makes much more sense this way. Any chance of making the same changes to pigs? These little sties really shouldn't be capable of producing up to 200 pigs every hour, and a whole free-range pig should be worth more than $9! And it wouldn't be a big deal since pigs don't get fed to the restaurant :-)

For a long time I was mining gold constantly - so long I can't remember where I got all those mining licenses from ;-) Now that I've run out - what kind of Prime event am I waiting for to get more? and how many will I be able to get?

There's always a possibility of graphics loading problems. I had a few before the Tower. Just giving them a poke about it, is all.
-
Darn. Was so busy complaining about the Deco tower the whole contest passed me by. Next time ... ;-)

Looks fine! I'm one who's been looking forward to horses, good news!! I guess I'd be more over the moon if GGS would make a whole 4th farm as a horse stud (lots of fine horses come from Germany, you know) but we can work on that ... :-) Question: How will our current gourmet farms be affected by the makeover? Is it start…

I like the idea of making more land available on the Main Farm! I actually don't mind the mine being next to the farm ... mines generally belong away from built-up areas (ie village), right? It makes more sense than libraries and skyscrapers do.
-
Nice, Alex! Looks great.

Not quite a perfect fix but pretty close, as far as I can tell. Only thing I notice is some graphics items respond to hover with a displacement of 1 or 2 pixels ... Thank you! I still don't want the buildings beside my farm (other than the mine) but at least I can play the game now.
-
Moving decorations is shot to pieces. I can't put them back where they were. My running costs are now +124, from -48. Many graphics items appear blurry, lags are terrible, and nothing to do with cache. Whoever decided on the detour with this tower development instead of focusing on farm upgrades needs a new job. Nice try…

Yeah, what gizmo said. I quite like the interior of the tower and I'd use it to look at decos up close, but I don't want it, or the library which I don't use, beside the farm. It would make a lot more sense to place them in the village, which is under-utilized anyway. And whatever is using up all the memory and interfering…

Most sensible suggestion I've heard yet. Are you listening, Management? Let your people do more of what they do well. If it ain't broke, for pete's sake don't fix it.
-
Screencap of graphics loading problem since today's update, doesn't quite do it justice but you get the idea
-
I like the tower, it's nice to see the decos up close. However - it seems to overload my CPU or RAM, and now on each farm, a number of assets (buildings, fields, orchards) appear distinctly blurry, while the rest are in sharp detail. eg. Main farm - 2 of 4 apple orchards are blurry, the other 2 are sharp; 1 of 3 cherry…

Hi Kat, thanks for responding :) I've only been on board a few months and am not feeling a space squeeze - but maybe I play the game differently from you. I find more benefit in orchards and decorations than selling produce. Cool, I'm glad you agree ... there doesn't seem to be a shortage of people who do. - I agree that…
