JVD, I am honored to accept your apology, certainly not because it was due, rather I accept it as a statement of your integrity. Carry on, indeed!

Equipping boats was too tedious for me, so switched over to ghost boats. 98% of the time, I send my boats out empty. Kinda get a kick that my boats are trained to bring back fish, albeit not much fish.

Interesting and enjoyable read. I've got plenty of thoughts to ponder on my afternoon walk.

Would you purchase gold protection? As stated many times over gold losses that are replenished with real world funds is profit making for GGS, so perhaps a creative compromise is the answer. Is there anything a player would be willing to buy, with real money, to received protection against accidental gold losses? A gold…

Yay to all the acknowledged! Thanks for your initiative and guidance.

Gold Lock In all fairness, the Gold Lock may not have withstood the Santa Workshop bug. If I've got this right, Santa's Workshop withdrew the gold before a player had the choice to use gold. In the Mobile Harvest game, choosing to purchase with gold is what prompts the verification. (My mobile farm verifies any gold…

Customer Service Personally, I consider myself a customer anytime I purchase a product from a business. As a customer, I expect a business integrity that provides a product as promised. If the product is defective or is never received, I expect to receive equal compensation as per the business's guidelines or my…

Snowballs? Oh my stars! Those snowballs are barely tolerable when they are supposed to be flying around screen. DemonR, you are surely a dedicated player.

With respect to gold losses, I've had this question for years: How is the distinction made between gold losses purchased with legal tender currency (Revenue gold) and gold earned within the game (Game gold)? If accounting trails exist for both player purchased "Revenue" gold and player earned "Game" gold, then which type…

@ Byron Longford (AU1) Got it. You are right. Gold losses can be sourced from real money, so any amount of loss is unjust. I was insensitive to suggest restitution of a single GML with 2000 gold as something reasonable for all.
-
I think GMLs are a great idea! Wouldn't compensate loss for loss, but a single GML plus 2,000 gold would be an honorable gesture. It'd be a great way of Big Farm launching its "Under New Management" status. Just a thought. . .

When I think about playing with Big Farm gold purchased with real world money, I liken it to my experience of purchasing snacks from a vending machine.
-
Ah bummer, this is very discouraging to learn many have lost gold without knowing and therefore no possible recourse to recover their gold. I had a sense something went wrong with my gold, but it all happened so quickly, I decided to steer clear of Santa's Workshop all together. Here's hoping you all are compensated equal…

Thanks for the discussion and explanations. Text size too small for me, but it added a fair amount of challenge to the game.

Oh my, that is WONDERFUL news! I've been dreading snowy farms. My sincerest thanks to all that commented on the eye strain and to GGS for the consideration.

Thanks for the info. Struggling with this hunt. Counts seem to be off. I even used a "free hint" to be shown a mushroom that previously wasn't there. Crazy.

GREAT NEWS! The MOBILE game has a fantastic solution: In the settings tab you have an option to set a gold spending amount that must be confirmed before the gold purchase is made. Mine is set at 1. If a keystroke to purchase gold is made, a pop up screen appears to confirm or cancel the purchase. This feature has saved me…
