Don't like to toss my excess corn; don't like to sell all my pigs raw. How about bacon and cornbread?

Like the name, like the plan. I'm on about 10-12 times per week but usually not for more than one or two missions. Advance planning on projects is good; I work full time. I research when the target is chosen and feed the farmdollar kitty. Not a gold buyer, just serious for about one year now. Don't like to quit my current…

Me too! Started on Day 2. X( Also, some eggs just too difficult to find. I found 7 quickly, 1 after a long, hard hunt, and the other 2 have evaded several systematic searches of the entire screen. I tend to suspect these last are hidden behind a tag or other feature I can't easily hide or move.

X( X( Whack it with an axe! Somewhere between (terrible idea) and (massive insult to all involved). Island farm, greenhouse, angry Captain Barnacle, horse ranch, grossly unfair horse races... Now we have... what? Intersex horses!? I am just as embracing of diversity as the next guy; and quite a bit more than the fellow a…

The current mission system attempts to deal all at once with all possible accusations that some player's approach is unfair to others. These "unfair" approaches include such things as fast-forwarding harvests with gold, dumping humus on corn, or planting special crops and waiting for the right mission to harvest them.…

Excellent!

I vote no.

Okay, the first point is that GGS needs income. This is a good game because real people are paid Real Cash Money to make it better. Any discussion that doesn't keep this thought uppermost, goes nowhere. The overall business model is freemium: to offer play for free but allow cash purchases to accelerate play and outpace…

Why not? And if you feel pressure to complete events, maybe you will buy gold to rush through them. This is a business... and that doesn't bother me. I hope Goodgame Studios is making fat profits; I like the game. It's up to me to refrain from spending cash I can't afford to lose. I can hardly pass an hour without Coke…

Island farm is for high rollers and those who can play many hours every day; I'm neither. Unless I'm confused, the ship used to ask for 6 products (before the island-shell-fruit stuff started). The ship used to be the most profitable market for goods of all kinds; the Captain pays more than for straight sales. I used to…

:) Absolutely, it's possible to level up faster: Buy gold, buy dollars, buy more stuff. Get a higher level, buy the farm, buy the bakery, stock, produce, sell, profit! I don't do this myself; I'm more patient -- and I'm stingy. But then, I accept that my strategy limits me and that other, richer, perhaps more industrious…

minadequate2, I hardly know how to thank you -- and all those who contributed data -- for this educational content.

You will always be asked to do a little bit more than is easy for you, or even, apparently, possible. Part of this is, you are encouraged to crack your card, buy gold, and bypass the difficulty. This should only bother you if you think life is, or should be, free. Part of this is to create a challenge, which is essential…

Well, the results are in. I did sow my one Level 3 field first; that was successful. So I tried sowing the other three seeds in Level 1 fields; that got me the reward. As others have said, it makes no difference. For this task and step, the notation "(Level 7)" is spurious and should be ignored.

I have not tried planting Special wildflower seeds in a low-level field. I have considered it but I've been reluctant to devote the 50 water to a project with uncertain, possibly useless outcome. Since you suggest it, I'll try; thanks.
