If the island farm is temporary, so too should be the ship asking for tropical fruit. Participating in the island event should be entirely voluntary. That's ridiculous argument. The flower farm is profitable, so they'll want to play that farm. The island farm is the opposite of profitable, which is why people don't want to play it.

Snakes are very beneficial to farms. Cats only catch the stupid vermin - Snakes can go where cats cannot, which I firmly believe discourages genius vermin. If there'd been a snake or three around when Wilbur the pig got sold off, his days would have been numbered, as Templeton the rat would have had nowhere to hide. ;)

IF you put your fields in cabbage, they wouldn't be done for 45 minutes anyway - 15 minutes longer than the wildflower mission. You could have gotten the corn mission instead and your gripe would be the same. Why not just come out and say that all you wanted was the dung mission?

I think all the OP wants is the same opportunity to get the ship every 6 hours that players with tons of seeds have, instead of every 12 hours. Not an unreasonable gripe.

Advise you to do just enough in your GF silo to get you through it. This is because you'll want to use your main farm silo for the final stage of the fairy tale - the fireflies.
