Previously I have only had mystery offers for 150k but I now have a mystery offer for 95k didnt think mystery offers were for any other value than 150k
There's even bigger penalty for not skipping the contracts due to opportunity costs. Depending on production portfolio and "luck" with contracts offered, also on how well the economy was finetuned before the OM arrived.
Bless you for that. You must be full time gamer.
I think GGS overcomplicated this feature a bit and it didn't work as they intended. Or I might be more corect to say that their intentions for OM haven't been fully disclosed yet.
I have this happen as well. In the past, I have always made prem humus and greenhouse humus, at every available interval. Now, it is a challenge to not forget it is there.
330 donkies, 435 dollars deducted for 2 HS, L43 (I think) 19.21 % bonus gives 550 dollars giving me "nice" net profit of 115 dollars. (I decided to disregard the 5 % basic bonus in these calculations as it would just tend to confuse the whole thing and is not crucial for the point I'm maiking.)
So got 115 dollar boost + 3 HS (with bonus) for the overall price of 435 dollars (217.5 per piece).
The price of HS is obviously changing. Different from what Psicolix had, and different from what I had before. Exactly what determines the price of non dollar reward? Does anybody know? Level of the farm? Level of OM? Level of contract? Type of contract? Number of non-dollar reward items on the contract? Overall profit of the contract? ......... Or any combination of these? Or just pure "random"? .... Some of it could be determined by carefull and consistent detailed data gathering and comparisons of data pools from different players. Anybody up for the task?
We could spend hours and hours calculating such contracts for different non-dollar rewards endeavouring to arrive at better definition of where exactly the OM starts to be profitable. But is that tiny possible extra gain worth it? And this is just one, rather easier to figgure out, controversial aspect of the OM....... Hm ......... back to farming now.
EDIT: I just noticed one nice improvement. Limited contracts show timer right from the start. Good job on this poing GGS.
I had one with Karma the other day & the cash amount was already more than the normal selling price & I also had 2 for 800 horseshoes, one with XP and one without & both were only slightly under regular selling price. I don`t bother checking anymore, because the higher bonus's make them all a good deal now imo ^^
I have had 9 in like 30 mins...
I mostly don't bother calculating them either and decline them straight away. For my purposes they are not a good deal. Although 800 HS sounds sort of interesting.
Is it still correct that the bonus increase between contract levels 40 and 99 is a little over 5 %? This seems very negligeable and would make declining contracts a very valid option, as there would be not much to lose in terms of percentage once in light blue and higher contracts.
Yeah I love those 800 shoe ones, with the bonus they are 960-1000 shoes, which is great as I have no seeds or ship fruits
Not sure of the % for every level, all mine are dark blue or purple & they seem to go from 20-25% (well just under 25, I guess value 100 will start at 25%)
Anyone want to buy 170,000 horseshoes:whistling:
its not worth it to sell products at the market.maybe make it more appealing:S
Edit by PINJO: merged posts, please use edit button
Is this supposed to happen? Is there a reason for this, did I miss it?
Contracts with different numbers of items on them have seperate values, are you sure that the ones you have with lower valeues, are not just ones that you don`t get very often, so those ones haven`t increased as much as some of the other types yet?... My ones with 1 or 2 items went up the fastest.
Clearly the apples were not fixed today. I got one for 2200 Pie and 37000 apples.
Market:
I have a solution to get bonus commands:
Fill commands, but does not send the truck until you have completed all orders!
And if you want ... another bonus tip: do not delete commands!
Say: I ordered 10 ori..si Museum 11th ... command clears all 10 orders went!
Can they please add the name of the product to the Neighbor's Requests?
Thank You!
Yes, Kamilcon, I understand the opportunity penalty, but I am not in a hurry now and I am choosing to try to understand how this is working better for now.
Full Time Gamer....LOL, LOL, LOL....Yeah I'm addicted to this game for over a year now!! I do play a whole lot and muli-task a lot with the game too. 8)
Yeah....seems like it's on the back burner now to me too, cuz not much in the Update, I expected more about the Market in it.
I have chosen to put all my contracts on my spreadsheet and see how the profits calculate out to learn about it all.
I am still getting contracts for way TOO MANY CHERRIES!!!!!
I have a couple of things I want to post, but don't have time right now as they will take a little time to put together. Will get to it soon, or may find my answers before that too.
For one, my Values are all over the place on contracts, no matter what the number of products are!!! For example a SX contract does not steadily increase in value as you do SX contracts. LX contracts do not steadily increase in value as I do more SX contracts.
I thought that for example if I did an S4 contract, the next S4 contract would increase in value and if I did an L4 contract the next L4 contract would increase in value. But this is not the case.
So now I'm confused. ;(
There are 12 different contract types.
S1 (Standard Contract - Not Times - with one product)
S2
S3
S4
S5
S6
AND
L1 (Limited-Timed Contract with 1 product)
L2
L3
L4
L5
L6
So if these are the contract types, how does each one get leveled up?
I'm still getting no color or green contracts. I can and have extracted some of the data related to contract Values and number of Sx or Lx contracts for example and sorted it in different ways, no real pattern is emerging. So, I'm trying to figure out how this works.
Can someone please tell me what do we need to do to get the carts, etc. on the Market to upgrade? 3rd time I'm posting this and no replies????? Just watching and trying to put it all together.
- It seams that SX and LX evaluate together. So if you do a S4 contract, it will increase the value of both S4 and L4 contracts.
- The green color will start to show when you reach contract lvl 20.
Sorry, I deleted your whole post just to agree with this. Especially the feed. The icon is so small I can't tell them apart. Same with the flower bunches I'm asked for over and over again on my small farm on us1. The only one I recognize is the pasta basket.
Not much was posted about this, but at the start the contracts fulfillment upgraded market stalls. Presumably based on what products you sold - main farm products upgraded main farm stalls etc.
Although the update OA said the changes on market will now come about faster, the opposit is true and they seem to come slower. What else changed since the first bug fix I can't tell, but haven't had a single market stall upgrade since.
First, do you have 6 contracts now? They only start to level up after that, not when you have 2 or 4 contracts only.
12 types are as you described them. They get leveled up by just completing them, so your expectations here are correct too.
Although it has been specifically re-confirmed by CM that all 12 types level independently, it still seems they work in pairs. Each contract type has (accordng to CM) different routines for leveling so they are not supposed to behave uniformely.
My first testing suggested that contract type can level up/down anywere between 0 to 4 points per fulfilment/decline. It didn't seem to show other pattern than above, but the data pool was small so it can be blamed for the lack. That's without guarantie now as I'm not testing it any longer and further tweaks could have been done by developers.
One note: If you work on a contract for a longer time, and yet get other contracts of the same type fulfilled faster, you of course get confused leveling info.
In general it seems to me that GGS exhausted our willingness to test their mess ups before they got it all fixed right and we got any precise and reliable results. Now it's sort of hanging in no man's land, with questions about OM functioning routines still unanswered. The current state would be best described with an editable word, so i can't express myself properly
Personally I'm less and less impressed with both the OM itself, and GGS dealing with it, and OM is sort of pushed on the outskirts of my attention in the game. The market is not really bad, but it's not really good either.
this ^ x 2
Does it mean, that what constitues a contract type has been redefined? (No longer the number of items, but the type of item ??)
Or are GGS people again writing another novel with nonsensical, irrelevant, confusing and incorect info?
PS: I finally got my fist market upgrade (main farm stalls) since the first major fix many days ago.
the description was like that from the beginning and was what confused me at early days of market update too.
don't pay attention to it though, contract types and value decrease/increase, is related to "number of kind of items being asked only" (1 item, 2 item, ..., 6 item)
p.s.@GGS: can you bring the naughty twins to visit farms more often please? we all are getting more karma points these days thanks to market, but it kinda is super annoying to wait 1 month to redeem gifts with them :S
I am liking the neighbors, now that there are more of them and they seem to walk faster. I get to sell feed, of which I always have excess, because I am a firm believer in running the Windmill and Watermill 24/7. They buy this excess feed at a much better price. And they buy bakery goods with a bonus most of the time, without all the work of a contract, so not too bad in my opinion. It brings in more farm dollars than I would bring in otherwise, and since they refuse to bring down the cost of the temp farms, that is a help. I still think the contract decline penalty must go. Otherwise, it becomes a possible scenario to decline anything with over two items and have all high value contracts that way. The decline penalty is not performing its function, so it should go - so that the whole market remains a "bonus" to regular farming. Without looking at like that, the negative comments begin to make more sense.
