Multiple farms?

Just wondering. Is it now legal for players to have more than one farm?
I have recently come across a co-op with at least two players who appear to have multiple farms. One of them told me he has two farms, and GGS is ok with it because he spends gold on both of them.
I'm curious, as it would help with our co-op losing members if I could have more than one farm.

Alls you need is another e-mail address. Can get as many as you want. When I played on FB I had 2. Helped myself with things.

Actually it is not allowed to have more than one farm / server. If you want to have more farms, you must start new farms in other servers. It does not matter if you buy gold or not, multiple farms are against rules.

lol @ the chances of GGS actually cracking down on the many many many multi accounts on the same servers that are out there...ive been in highly ranked co-ops where the leader and the deputies all had multiple accounts which they confirmed when asked that were from old members that had quit but handed over the keys to the farms so they could be used to get projects done alot quicker...could name names but whats the use because GGS most likely cant be bothered with it as long as they keep making money....so....Giddy up!!!!

Actually, a friend of mine had 3 farms on one server. He was contacted by GGS and told to pick the one he wanted to keep as the others would be deleted.

I know one person too, who had 3 or 4 farm in same server. Some one reported about this person, and GGS told him to choose one of his farms. Others where deleted. Later this person started again a new farm in same server. He had some kind of warning from GGS, that if he does it again, he will get banned permanently. I dont know all details, but something like that it was.

im sure if they have the time to investigate multi accounts they will try enforcing their rules of engagement regarding making more than 1 account per server....i was actually just asked to join another coop that has 3 newbie accounts in the member list that are most likely multi accounts ...its hilarious to see players doing this and just changing the number at the end of the name...lol...1...2...3...4...5...6... DOH!!!

I agree in that it is very hard finding Multiaccount farms by random chance, except it's reaaal obvious :D

Usually we're in a situation where we can only react to what you guys send over to our support team. If the claim is verified we handle the situation accordingly.

not worth my time to do supports job by ratting out other players...hire some yoyo to systematically go through every co-op to find the cheaters...the invite a friend monkey business has if anything made multi accounting worse than it ever was..im sure if GGS really wanted to stop it from happening they would figure out a way to do it...cant see anything happening to any serious extent if they make money from even just a few of those extra accounts....Giddy up!!!!

Thank you all for your comments to my question. I was pretty sure it was still the rule to not have multiples.
Yes, I agree GGS has many more important problems (bugs) to deal with than finding those who do this.
Personally, I don't think it's all that bad an infraction. Yes, it gives unfair (?) advantage in the Co-op Challenge and rankings. Seems it's sort of like using gold to win missions, really.
    Happy farming, all

The only problem in my opinion with reporting these is that even if they are blatantly obvious (I know of an entire cooperative that has like 2-3 people but 19 members all belonging mostly to one person) you might need actual proof of the person saying they own them all or it won't be looked into.
Our leader/current deputy reported the co-op listing all the clone names to get them at least looked over and checked, but no result because of course the person wouldn't admit to it. The names are so stupid too they're in the style of "Name123, Name1233, Name321, Name132" and so on, with the farms having identical layouts. :'D [not the actual names of the people in it, won't name them here but the layout is the same]

The sickest part is that that co-op is of high rank too but basically played by one person. XD
  • I'm cool with following the rules and not having multiple accounts in my coop, but where do I find said rules? If I had not specifically asked the question I would not have known I was doing anything wrong by allowing it. I would like to be able to defend my stance by sending others to view this rule.

  • Thank you very much GrayCat for answering my question and for the link to the terms of service. It was helpful. :-)
  • Realize this is an old post, but what happens if you have an old farm you completely demolished everything but can't delete? I'm permanently only using this account by this name and not the other one.

You can contact support to have the other account deleted. If you have never purchased gold, the account will automatically be deleted if you don't login for 6 months.

Are different members of a family allowed to have separate accounts on the same server, keeping in mind that they may all have the same IP address so it may look as if it is the same person?

Yea but you need to let support know so the accounts won't get blocked. :)
  • as Jess said notify support, give the user names of each family member/Farm name. Thats what I did for ours and no issues.

  • Thank you guys! I sent the information and now I'm waiting for support to get back on me with deleting the account.
