My horse is level 55; I struggle at the start faced with mega-horses but they soon disappear upwards; I rise rapidly through Silver; I struggle through Gold; I creep into Platinum, fall back into Gold, struggle back into Platinum and, so far, finish in P4.
I shall keep training and breeding, One day I shall make P3 lol
I usually try to sell SOMETHING to the boat each day and get a few horse shoes. This does keep a steady trickle of horseshoes available for training if no seeds for ship. Granted the number is low and one must settle for minimum training, but it IS training. Actually always going minimum - you get the most free points from training area. Again - Slow but it does keep you going. With the new market, must watch priorities. I make sure I have sold to ship before I sell in the market. With regards to NON greenhouse goods to the ship, If you sell your inventory at the market, you have nothing for the ship - whatever it asks for.
Since there is just one field of racers, you will always compete with the horses from your league and class, or next neighbouring class, regardless of your and their level. Position in the field puts the competitors together. Which is perfectly fair and correct. What you ask for could only happen if there were different tournaments for horses of different level groups.
Extra races bough for dollars or gold do not change your average figures. That would make no sense as it's always the same fuel. What it should do is give you more victories in final numbers. 30 % average from 100 races will be bigger number then 30 % average from 20 races. Your average could only change if you substentially improve your horse qualty compared to your competitors. Then the chance to win increase, and wth it your average results. If you're improving at roughly the same speed as your competitors, the average figures are not likely to change.
This is not completely true - when my horse was in Platinum V I was regularly pitted against horses in the Diamond league - and on several occasions all 3 competitors were from the diamond league. I can not believe that there were no suitable horses from Platinum V, IV, III, II, or I for me to compete against. And of course the reverse is also true - I was often challenged by horses from the diamond league, most of which are at levels 30+ higher than mine.
So whatever formula GGS are using to determine the competitors, I have resigned myself to the fact that it is not a fair competition.
What amuses me the most is that the stupid horse woman chooses competitors that are nearly impossible to beat and then looks so disappointed when I don't win - what does she expect?????
So my point was that I was in the lowest platinum league but still regularly getting competitors from the diamond league which is 5 leagues higher. That makes for a pretty big fork
Your case then must be some kind of bug anomaly.
Thanks for correcting me.:)
I'm also surprised that they have not introduced a 'choose another horse to compete against by using gold' button so that when you do get 3 'impossible' to beat competitors you can change one in the hope of getting a lower level horse - not that I would use it, but it would give gold users a better chance of moving up the league.
With this part I have the same impression. But don't remember having competitors outside the bracket as I described it. Always my slot or the next neighbouring.
