And updated info:
http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?141053-Update-June-23rd-More-ways-to-invite-friends!
One of the worst bugs, is that people try to use it, without first have any idea how it works, because GGS programmers do not have make this 'friends' thing 'foolproof'. (This is not meant as an attack against beginners who doing wrong when they use the friends links, but meant as a critism to GGS programmers for have doing a bad job)
If the programmers have doing a good job, then when somebody using a 'friend link' somebody have send them (or they have seen the link other places, eg. on a friends facebook profile, then the link would automatickly open the 'start a new farm' on the correct server where the inviter have his/her's farm!
But at least GGS could have make a professionally job when they make that stupid friend thing, instead of this bungling that for me clearly looks as if they have not thought about the many negative consequences, and also failed programming just fairly acceptable.
