Organic Market-Contract Expiration?

Contracts that exceed our storage capacity, is there a time limit for us to fill the remaining amount, w/o risking the loss of inventory we've already applied to it?
Example: Eggs, my storage limit is 3,000, however one contract requires over 10,000 eggs (I waited till my duck coops were ready to help with this amount) do I stand to lose the amount already filled, by time running out? And if so, how will I know how much time I have to fulfill the remaining amount? This is concerning a $600k+ contract.

Hi there. There are 2 types of contract, Standard and Limited.

With the Standard contracts you have as much time as needed to complete but with Limited contracts once you have supplied an item there is a timer in the bottom left hand corner. If you fail to complete the contract before the timer reaches '000' you will lose any items you have already supplied.

If the contract you are currently supplying is a Standard contract, then you can take as much time as you want to complete it.

Note to GGS - Could you please give the 2 types of contract different colour codes, it is all too easy at the moment to not notice that you are supplying items to a Limited Contract.

I don't have any at the time. But important thing is that you can see the timer after you have added even one thing in it. It is not good, if you have for example apples in it, and you don't notice it's limited contract, so you add apples, have an hour timer, but next apples comes after 3 hours.
So you must buy apples or just forget the whole contact and loose some apples.....

So you can't tell by the looks of a contract that it is a limited one or not. You have to add at least something to it, and only then the timer will pop in. If I understood things right....

There is a label at the top of the right hand pane which says either Standard Contract or Limited Contract - highlighted in orange, so you know in advance which type of contract it is.

Good idea, or at least also show Standard or Limited on the 2nd page where you do the donating.

Here you go Jiesta.... The timer only appears after you have donated something (unless you donate everything ofc hehe)

Timer starts at 1hr 5mins & if it expires you get a pop-up saying how much gold it will cost to finish it or you lose everything you donated so far.

So..if you accidentally added one of the items before you noticed it was timed....you lose what you contributed? I had one yesterday but didn't notice the loss. Please confirm if the product is lost.

Like I said, you get a pop-up when the timer expires, so if you hadn`t noticed it & the hour ran out, you would get that warning before your stuff was lost, but if you don`t want to pay the gold to finish the contract, there is no way to get your items back, so you would lose them, yes.

On the brightside, the Limited contracts that I have had so far, haven`t been for huge amounts, like the Standard ones are, they have asked for a few hundred of each thing (or less) like the one in the screenshot above, instead of 1000s like the other type.

Unfortunately, I have recently been given limited contracts requiring very large amounts of apples and pigs - far more than my storage capacity and one full production cycle can supply. Yes, I could probably afford to buy the missing products, but why waste money on them? Instead, I supply the smallest amount of some required product that I can and allow the timer to run out. That gets rid of the contract and allows another contract to appear.

You could just click on the little trash can to decline the contract without wasting your products. :)
