I would love it if I t didn't work on my farm lol 5 small carts taking the place of my garage, when you only need one cart as the others just show you the same thing, its pointless using such a large area for something like this the carts look lost, I pray for the day when mine stops working ;),, GG please put my garage back where it was

Tell me if its just my farm, selling the products to the organic farm brings me the EXACT same price as selling them for money so why?????? Yes, I have calculated the prices over and over.

The Market was ment to sell off extra produce/products from our farms and at the same time we slowly build the Market up...If you dont want the little carts and what not being built up then dont play...its just another thing for bored players to work on ...its quite simple

Are the people idiots? Actually you get more money by selling fast to the neighbors showing up, about 10-20% more, you get the bonus after you click it. You also don't see it before that click, you get actually two sums, if the bonus works. But my neighbor don't show up anymore..:( And selling contracts you actually get 1000 bucks more than direct selling, it is not much though and kind of useless.

It would be nice addition to the game if it would actually work for me. You need a lot of money in the game. I wonder how many has a viking farm, which is a real money hole.

If the game is so buggy and they don't fix it, and the long server downtimes and annoying game save rollbacks happen too often, I consider leaving the game for good. This isn't fun anymore. It is unfair disadvantage that there is a way to earn money by some game mechanics that are not the same for everyone. Game is unstable and the updates won't work..:/

The neighbours that want to buy stuff are pretty close to the farm. Clicking them will result in an immediate sell.

    Please consider these options:
    1. Option to disable or not see the neighbours
    or
    2. After clicking a neighbour, have the option to "sell" or "cancel".
    or
    3. Option to disable the organic market completely.

YES!! All that you just said---they are TOO close to everything! And the truck is parked RIGHT on my fence--not next to it, but ON it. I would LOVE to have the option to be able to disable it as well. I have already accidentally clicked on the stupid little grifters 3 times. Fortunately, as I haven't done anything with them for the past day, they have stopped showing up. I hope they stop completely, as I have no intention of interacting with them again---accidentally or otherwise. But they DEFINITELY need to move them from the area they are now occupying. I hate where the garage is now located.

I thought I had it taken care of this way too but alas, no.
My farmhouse is right in front of the marketplace so I thought I was safe from accidentally selling to a neighbour while harvesting....But when the regular farm workers popup, occasionally it freezes my cursor.
As I was hovering over one neighbour to look at their request, a farm worker popped up and my cursor blinked and sold almost all my cherries and honeydew.
The only way I can see for this to not happen again is to never even look at them in the first place.

Please GGS, MOVE THEM or allow us DISABLE THEM. Better yet, give us an option to sell AFTER we open the neighbour's request.

Same here. I have had numerous occasions where I have had most of my cherries and other expensive stuff accidentally and unintentionally sold because they're so close to my fence. I too would LOVE the option to not ever have to see ANY of them again. Only good thing is that they've stopped showing up on my farm as of today--probably because I have been doing my best to ignore them completely.

Whine whine whine, you should be all really lucky it works at all. :D I don't get any neighbors visiting at all at my farm. Just that annoying character selling 10 feed for 30 000 dollars. How the selling your stuff and getting the big money is such a big problem? You get a neighbor bonus too, if you sell fast. Getting the money is the big problem in this game unless you focus on updating your houses or only your horse stables..:D Thas is really unfair, that the update doesn't work for everybody (I mean at least me..;))

Making big money selling stuff is fine. However, the neighbours are asking for almost my entire barn full of supplies I need to make fruitcakes, soap, and honey cream. So it is not feasible to sell these. If they only asked for a few hundred I wouldn't be that upset if I accidentally clicked on it.

Totally agree. Also put those contracts on the last tab of the Farm Management, not the first one please.

agreed!!!!! the whole thing is a silly/pointless addition!

People have repeatedly asked for just this option in the game, guess there is no pleasing everyone all the time

It is not about pleasing everyone. It is about making the game usable for all. If people don't want to see this organic market then give us the option to disable it, this satisfies everyone. At minimum, give an option to the users. After all, most of us pay for play so we should all be given equal consideration.

Actually i like it too, i have also earned dollars a lot faster than normally.
If i don't like the offer, it goes into trash... So i can choose, new one comes soon. And those "bubbleheads", i like even them ;) If i don't click, it goes away after a while... no i haven't accidentally clicked none of them.

I think I like the market, too! As said before you can make choices, take it or trash it. And the neigbours .... well up until now I've left them alone - I think it is quite funny to see them walk away again. Also never clicked the vendor yet, thanks to the warnings in the forum.... ;)

I do believe I will be found a lot more on the market after tomorrow's update! :)

Like Dara I never accidentally clicked a neighbour yet, not even when there were 3 of them standing right behind my fence.... I guess I am just prudent in clicking.

Well, just don't click them if you don't want to sell it. Simple. :)

I think ppl in this thread have a very good point regarding the walking customers, a "confirmation" button for those walking customers seems really essential.
well there's a few other down points still regarding the market too, but nothing super big imo to make the market "useless" though. so generally aside from what i mentioned first in this post, i think this market is a great new feature to the game, it may take a while to get used to it, a bit more than how we got used to ship for example, but it too great feature to totally disable or miss imo.
in the past few days (even without the changes that will come tomorrow and will make market even better) not only I have made tons of dollars off the market but also I have gotten 31 karma points and probably more horseshoes than i daily get from ship even. so be a bit more optimistic guys and test it first before totally deciding on opposing it.
that's just my opinion though, still everyone have different opinions always, so no judging and no offense meant either.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Griffith. I too have made 31 karma points from the market and it is beginning to be better for horseshoes than the ship (at least for me). I just sent off 2 orders that gave me over 900 horseshoes as a bonus in addition to all that extra cash.

I hope everyone will get past all the bugs with the new update. Try it again when the fixes are in -- you might like it! :)

Market is great, no competition with others, make what you want too, when you want too and another way to get rewards like horseshoes for those of us that don't like the temporary farms to get seeds for the ship.

@ Cookie and Griffith, I'm wondering about the extra cash you mention in connection with special rewards. I checked a few orders with combined reward like that and the dollar reward was always lower then what direct sale would have given me, even when it was just 1 karma point added. Also dollar loss incured by producing not the best dollar givers needs to be taken into an account when assesing if OM actually gives us dollars or costs us dollars in overall picture.

I generally like the market as such, just not persuaded about it's profitability yet after making some observations myself. Good math would help here if you've done some. :)

If you are looking only for profitability, then all non-extra-bonus (without horseshoe, karma, etc) regardless of their value (% bonus) generally will give more dollars than regular price selling. but that alone not necessarily will be profit yep, selling raw materials that one needs for their own farm can be actually a loss for example, or selling low useless flower recipes can also be a loss even with bonus (since they will take some of flower shop time in which we could make more profitable items instead).

but aside from those, yep it seems like pretty much any contract that has extra-bonus (horseshoe, karma, etc) will generally give less initial dollar than regular prices selling. but depending on the value of contract (% bonus) the sum of initial + bonus dollar, in some cases "may" make the contract dollar-wise good too, and in some other cases "may" make the contract a bit of dollar-loss as a sacrifice for those extra prizes instead.

ofc there is a formula for it i'm sure too, but since there's like 4 kind of rewards found already, and each of those rewards have a variable range(from 0 to 10 karma for example) then it's too much a pain to calculate it honestly. so just do it like this, for the contracts that has extra bonuses just see if you "really" want the prize or not, and regardless of bit dollar loss or bit dollar profit, just decide to do it or not imo, normally the contracts of blue'ish color or higher since have 20% dollar bonus or more will usually make up for the initial loss in most cases so they are safe dollar-wise too. but lower ones (0-39 contract value for example) may cause a little dollar-loss for the extra prize instead, but that usually isn't really high either so it's not super important imo.
losing 20k dollars for 5 karma points is something totally ignore-able for example imo. but losing 50k dollar for 2 exp points may not be much great(but this's also just my own preference, some may prefer exp to karma points actually).
so see for yourself if you like the extra prize of contract itself or not first, and then can easily decide without calculations even whether you want to do the contract or not. cause doing calculations for all of them is too much a pain imo and since the little dollar loss is recovered by the extra prize instead it is not a big deal really imo.

The market is still new and, at the moment, constantly being worked on :) Today we'll update the game for some major changes in the market's balancing and to work on some issues related with it, as an example.

So, even if you're not a huge fan today, give us (and yourself) a bit of time to get used to the organic market, and to figure out all the quirks. If you still don't like it after some time, this is a whole other discussion ;)

can we have a checkbox in the options to disable the biological market ?
I don't like it I prefer if its not displayed.

Like you get an 'offer' for 300k dollars an don't know what you gonna get, and then I get10 chicken food...

As far as the having a second option for what we send neighbors I agree. Somebody said that all we get when we sell to the neighbor is what we would sell the product for to begin with..well that is partly true, you also get a bonus. As far a working the truck I have made over a 1,000,000 off of it so far. I am up to 4 orders at a time. I still do everything else to so now I am making more money.

    Hi Timo,

C'mon brother... I know that you did in fact modify the market's demand but on the other hand, some demands are totally off the wall and go against completing tasks (sell X number of Y). The demands are INSANE. I've seen stuff as crazy as 16k apples + , Honey in large quantities, etc...

While you are at it, why not demand 300K apples and make it a LIMITED contract with a 60min timer. Gawd... Your dev team are so off the mark, it's not even funny. Do they even play the game... I mean, for REAL? Also, the profits are REALLY marginal at best, even at 20, 25, 30 + % bonus.
