The "Island" farms are temporary farms that last about 30 days. No one knows when they will start until they do.

There are three permanent farms: main, gourmet and flower farms. You may get the last one for gold when you reach lvl 35 or
for dollars after level 40. Other farms are temporary. Runs wrote a list, but GGS may add more in the future.

Just one reminder: Temporary farms are VERY expensive. If I may give an advice: do not open any of temporary farms before making a good base in other three farms. Not before you reach last two last two products in flower shop and even then it may be too soon.

When aaabbb1 says EXPENSIVE it means $4,000,000 at the absolute minimum. His advice is VERY good :)

The "it" actually refers to the "expensive" not yourself. I carefully rephrased the sentence to avoid the he/she conundrum (lol) but I shall add you to my (very long) list of shes for the future. :D

Correction : Just re-read my original post, there was a "his" in there (not just the it!) Humblest apologies lol :whistling:

Everyone's right, don't sweat about the islands until at least way deep into developing the flower farm.
Typically, past lvl 60 is when people reach that stage, and past 100 is where the islands start actually being possible, if you want a level-based meter.

With that being said, the candy farm was significantly easier than the rest imo. That one I think is cool to start even if you're low level, but keep in mind that'll unlock the last slots of the ship that you won't be able to fill a lot whenever it asks for the other islands' products.
The candy farm just left a couple of days ago, so it probably won't be here for quite a while. If I had to guess, not before the other islands have all had another turn. ^-^

Leisurely play the island farms until you understand it. Don't stress it. And depending on how well you manage your main farms, 4m throughout the month is very obtainable, and should give you a decent outcome in seeds for sending the ship off (if that's what you're interested in).

Besides the Candy Farm... **shifts eyes**

Ah! Forgot to mention, when the candy farm does come back around, if your aim is to get the seeds to fill the ship, don't bother with donating to the palace. It gives less vouchers and during lower levels if you won't be able to upgrade it by many levels donating might just be throwing 10% of the vouchers away for virtually nothing. :3

Is it just me, or does others have an issue with their temporary farms ending 1-2 days early? In order for me to get all my vouchers out of it I have to start dismantling mine about 9 - 10 days prior to the day it says its to end, cause it ends about 3 days prior for me.

For aaabbb1 @ WWW 1, Thanks very much for the advice ;)
And thanks for you all, i understand now :D
I started the candy farm in level 34, and it just finished few days ago. and i think it didn't give any benefit to me:sleeping:. I just got about 500.000 vouchers and i use it to buy cotton candy machine for my main farm.
And now i cant load products onto the ship , what should i do now ?( how will i train my horse ?(
    Regretttt it ;(;(

    Hey there YanamuzhaChampz you said
"And now i cant load products onto the ship , what should i do now how will i train my horse
    Regretttt it "
at this point all you can do is load the boat with the 4 main items and wait for it to leave. When the next temp farm comes around then if you visit that one the boat will change what it asks for and hopefully you will be able to completely load the boat.

This sounds like you are using the time displayed on the TRUCK. For a proper time in knowing when the farm will be through, hover your mouse over the airport. It will display the hours left before the farm is demolished.

Was Northern Lights not the updated Viking Farm, thus only 3?

The farms are the same, apart from the night & day thing, but they do each have a different set of deco rewards, so I guess technically they are different events... Especially if you were a deco collector.

The temporarily farms are EXPENSIVE for level 34 player like me. maybe i have to start them from level 50 and above. And what shall i do if the island farm event started. shall i started it or not cause i'm not sure if it will be better than the candy farm, and the boat asked the product that maybe i will get it from tthe island farm .

DON'T START ANY ISLAND EVENT before you have built up your 3 permanent farms to be stable & strong. Then you'll make money from them, go on till you have at least 100 mio, preferably more. And then you can try an Island Farm Event. You could play the whole event or just play 1 or 2 chapters/levels of it, to collect the necessary shells/runestones/candies. This is the advice I always give my low level members (and go figure: you couldn't even finish the Candy Farm with 100 mio farmdollars) !!

If you start a temporary Island Farm Event too early, you'll regret it forever, because you then are bound to play them, as the ship will keep asking for the specific seeds from that event!
So: don't touch the airport nor the lefthand task to not open any Island Event untill you are ready for it!

Very good advice. But not 100% necessary. You aren't 'bound' to play it. You just may not be able to send the ship every time, thereby losing potential benefit. Like many things it is a choice. I think if I were restarting, I would try with the Island asap. It CAN severely handicap your builds... but there are some very nice guides out there for maximum shoes for minimal effort. So to repeat, its a choice.

Jiesta's advice is sound! But not the only road.

The ones you buy from the trader are the same for both events, but the ones that you win are different.
