starsie, there are no such strings attached this time.
If you decide to drop out during the event, there will be no consequences (apart from you missing out on rewards that is
And I was in the middle of my coffee!
We've announced the update for this moning CEST, this should not have come as such a big surprise for everyone.
Cheers,
Steffi
Time for a little sleep. zzzzz
Wow, you guys managed to reload the game the first minute it came back, apparently. It may take the game a short while after all servers are back for texts to be fully loaded by the client.
Try reloading the game using CTRL+F5, then everything should be displayed just fine.
I had the same problem with empty text fields. Logged out and back in again. Works now and am helping George to load stuff.
I have harvested both corn and eggs, but only the corn being registrated?
Now it could be very interesting and nice to know how much corn I should fill in that box, before it filled up?
That's funny little event. I think I like it
You're right, Brian!
Only one box will be filled at a time. The boxes themselves are bottomless, they cannot be filled completely.
Box changes happen when the funnel runs empty. The more corn you harvested, the more productivity/pressure will be shown on the gauge. Once it reaches high pressure levels, the remaining time for a box will run down quicker and quicker, so the box will eventually change.
Dara15, move your mouse over the productivity gauge. It will show you how much corn is needed to go to the next productivity level.
This productivity level is the most important mechanism, as it increases your points per second, but in turn also determines how quickly the funnel will run empty and the remaining time runs out.
Edit: Kamilcom was quicker. Well explained. Glad you enjoy the event!
The event lasts 2 days, no matter if you start right away or on the 2nd day.
Your private box timers, however, only start once you harvest the required products.
Edit:The silo countdown timer appears to not work properly. I planted WF with more than 2 mins left...but the timer stopped and moved on to the next product before the WF were ready to harvest.
2nd Edit: With the timer not counting properly, I'm not even finishing this event. What's the point?
Similar problem for the timers for missions. I don't think they last 30 minutes at all.
Hey DuffyPoo222,
thanks for the report! We've had a couple people mentioning that the timers seem to be a bit off so far...
We're of course already investigating the source of this issue so we can hopefully resolve it soon.
Regards,
Steffi
Does it mean 'reach ... at the end of the event'?
My farm is small. I just sat in front of the computer just making one harvest after another; it was boring. I may enjoy it more now that I know I have time plant special corn seeds. Will plan accordingly next time, but I do not have a farm for dandelions, so my event has ended.
Higher productivity = less time needed for processing goods stored in funnel = the faster you need to supply goods to keep the machine going.
So:
It's type of "TETRIS" mechanism involved. The longer you go, the faster it get's. Than you start a new "game" from scratch.
Yes, I understand that. But I had 2-1/2 minutes left after I planted WF. The timer counted down and was finished before my WF were ready to harvest. THAT should not happen.
