"On the Candy Mansion meter, when you get to the first little white line, you get a reward. It says the deco will be on your main farm. It is not. It is on the Candy farm. "

do you mean the gumball machine that you get with level 1 of the candy palace?

    Hey everyone,

good to see that the slow forums couldn't stop you from enjoying the farm and leaving some feedback already. :)

On the Candy Mansion meter, when you get to the first little white line, you get a reward. It says the deco will be on your main farm. It is not. It is on the Candy farm.

Where exactly did you find this information, gavinfarms?

I've been checking German texts and if the translations are right, it shouldn't be stated anywhere that the candy dispenser deco is meant for the main farm.

A screenshot would be much appreciated. :)

Graphics are very impressive and unlike the other temporary farms which have a sameness to them, in regards to tasks this one is completely different. Previous posters before me that have said the voucher payout is very low compared to the shells systems are correct. It is almost impossible to get 40 million + vouchers without a lot of gold use but with 3 GMLS up for grabs I wouldnt expect GGS to just hand it to us.

I think its a good update overall and hope future updates are as good if not better.

A note on the ship, since there was so much frustration. I have used 350 gold today forcing my schedule onto the farm to avoid wasting time, and I have had no trouble getting enough seed to minimally fill every slot every time. I missed one boat, one hour after the farm arrived. That is all. So with decent effort and practical use of vouchers, the ship is not a problem after a matter of hours.

Gavin may I ask what level your farm is please?

Has everyone found out that the Candy farm is L shaped....
At first, I thought it looked small and easy to do.

Speaking of timing, how long will the candy farm be running?

i did the math with EVERYTHING, and it will not produce enought vouchers.

in the tropical isle, with 330.000.000 farms dolars you could get 3.000.000 shells per day.

in this farm with 330.000.000 farm you will get about 300.000 vouchers per day.

you can't buy more than 5 alpacas, because you can only produce 160 feed per day. and if you that you can't pproduce any suggar or syrup.

228 vouchers are nothing... do the math, to get 3.000.000 per day out that you will need do that 13.220 X
that 13.200X6 Grapes Plus 13.200X6 cherrys.

to produce 79.200 cherrys you will need about 50 level4 cherry orchards. (there's no room in the farm for that).

That's 228 vouchers without building anything, only producing. But I see we're talking about different things. I thought you were referring to the low end, not the high end. Much faster to collect vouchers for people not wanting to spend a lot of $ on the Temp Farm.

NO, its not, right now players are using the vouchers from task/email, in 1-2 days you will notice that you will not be able to get almost none vouchers.

There doesn't seem to be a task for it. I've already run out of tasks on the Candy Farm. But you can name your farm any time, just by going to Options - Settings. :)

Jiesta, there is no task to rename the farm, but as Pingo42 suggested, you can change it in the option menu.

Pingo42, there will be more tasks once you advanced further with your candy palace. ;)

    Hi Nafaru,

What I'm missing is precise numerical informaton in Candy Palace about progress points supplied/still needed for individual upgrade levels. All it shows is points needed in general for level 5, 10, 15, and a very wague "slider" colour indicator for current level.

Sort of true but also a little incorrect. The previous gourmet farm had many recipes and ingredients that are crucial factors of the candy farm. Back in those days you were constantly making sugar, cream and marzipan and it looks like the same process is crucial in this farm's success.

Since this new farm is so new to me, I haven't formed an opinion on it, but I was disappointed to see the blatant encouragement from GGS to use gold to start orchards (which was the bottleneck of the previous temporary farms, i.e. mangoes and berries). I agree with the statement above, that this is looking like a very gold-dependent temporary farm. The graphics and ideas are all flashy and punchy, but just a distraction from what the real intent is. No gold-spending safety guards in this update. No surprise there.

Oh well. One can continue to have hope. Good luck everyone with your candy farms.

The above screenshot from Jess_d is the exact one I was talking about. It is not an emergency by any means. Extremely low on any list of troubles that I would have. Gumball Machines are on 90K vouchers. I can buy one for the main farm.

    Jess_D: Thanks.....

One Great Feature is that happiness is not the completely ridiculous problem that it was on the island and viking farms. It is great that I don't have to worry excessively about decos in the first days of the candy farm. In this area, GGS did well.

Sadly you can't! You have to watch the progress bar and second guess how many more points you need :(

I have also been disappointed in this inability to see your progress points. It was obviously be helpful to have the exact number, especially since the meter changes scale as it goes up.

I have to agree, I love this new addition more than any of the other temp farms. I wish there was a way to continue having this one. The colors are so bright and fun and who doesn't love candy? Anyway...gonna be away all weekend and am bummed cause it is 3 days that I can't keep making this grow..LOL. This is the first one that I have enjoyed spending money on.

I only play the temp farms for horseshoes. So if I don't see the SAME payout, I don't tend to play this farm again when it popups. I'd like to train my horse.

How do we get vouchers? I need vouchers for the green house grow stuff for the boat?

The easily achievable x250 greenhouse humus, the 5,500 horseshoes, 100 fuel Don't tempt you?

I am not sure it'll be enough. I still have to see, I do plan on giving it my best shot though.

(e)Also 3m is not an EASY task for someone on a budget. I am still trying to work my main farm. I don't have unlimited resources. AND since it's already been mentioned that the payout is even LOWER in this farm, I can only sit and scoff at the goal.

I'd like not to spend more than 4-5m on the farm throughout the whole month.

The plus side though is that if I DO make it to 3m, I am automatically awarded those horseshoes without waiting for the seeds to grow + I'll have the tickets to buy the seeds, BUT, I can't say I have high hopes on getting that far with the petty tickets that I am getting when I sell (or trade) my candies.

So far, I have almost collected 200k tickets BUT most of that is from the tasks, which will cease pretty soon. I don't know how many tickets I can gather in a day, but I was able to do at least 28k a day with minimum investment and work with the other farms (once my farm was established). I was happy with that. Seriously. I am not looking at the other rewards. I am not competitive. I just want to meet my personal goals, and right now THAT is training up my horse.

I'm facing a similar struggle too Lexiatel. My primary goal was to train up my horse to breed it with another. Just now I used my last 2K in horseshoes which means I'll have to scrimp and save every special fruit, use any greenhouse humus I can make with my farm machine and meet the minimum requirement for the next whatever days. I can't afford to buy any special seeds unfortunately.

Hopefully things will be clearer in the next week or so. Good luck to you.

Thanks, you too! I really think that the Marzipans are your best bet in getting anywhere. Unfortunately, it'll take some farm dollars to do some necessary upgrades to make things a bit quicker.
