Ship keeps asking for fruit
The last time the tropical Island event was here, I did not play the Island (didn't donate certifcates or anything) I thought that when not playing the Island the ship wasn't supposed to ask for island fruit.
Well not only did it keep asking for viking fruit; now that the island is long gone, the ship still keeps asking for viking fruit.
I am running really low on some of the fruits, which basically means my ship is stuck for hours, I am running low on horse shoes etc.
Is this a bug or am I misinformed

The reason to why we haven't had a temporary farm in a while is that GGS plan to give us a new one in the next update. It was supposed to have already come but it's been delayed..
My guess is that we will, at least, have to wait until the cooperative challenge is over..
They did. After the next update.

It seems that some players got an e-mail about it and some players didn't. I was among the latter.
"The county fair is coming! Have you discovered any of the candies hidden around your farm yet? They're a taste of what's to come at the upcoming county fair and candy farm available from level 30!"
Unless they are nommy humbugs of course

You'll be able to see the connection as soon as the update hit and the event is started afterwards.
Hmmmm, that could sounds a little like the next update is just around the corner?
- and me who just 4 hours ago have started a 40 hours upgrading process... - I hope there's time enough to finish that (whitout skipping for gold!), before the next update take place.
It is close, but not close enough for you to worry about the construction you just started.
It will come soon, but neither tomorrow, nor friday. There will also be an update announcement at least 1 day, if not more ahead.
If I had to rate the release of the candy farm on a scale between now and the end of time, I would put it somewhere around here:
Now <--- Very Soon --- Soon --- Soon-ish(er) --- Soon-ish
> End of Time
TL;DR: We'll inform you at least one day in advance of the update, although starting times of events of course vary from the actual update time.
*runs and hides*
Man, can that bandito hold his drink!
Great post, Smurf!!!
That's why the coon kept rolling about in the office. Suddenly it all makes sense!
Alright fine. There will be an announcement regarding the update within the next 7 days.
That better? Will you stop force-feeding the coon? Will you?
OK, I'll cut off his beer supply so long as you keep him away from our candy, deal?
I think we don't need to force-feed.....;)
I hope you got some alka seltzer in there Dara:
Deal!
Well as long as he won't start revolting that is... :S That'd be scary.
Oh Oh! Dara, we're going to need more cat food!
Thank you a lot
Even this is bad news for us who not longer can deliver greenhouse fruits to the ship, and therefore hope for a very soon coming temp farm, this info is very valueable for us.
Now we can doing longtime upgradings until at least tuesday next week
- hmm , I have 2 more training arenas I will use the waiting time to upgrade
Is it too late to reeducate that coon? Get him off the cat food and candies and on to his natural diet, without him revolting?:S
According to wikipedia, raccoons eat 40% invertebrates, 33% plant material and 27% vertebrates. And we all know invertebrates means bugs. Too many of those crawling around and that coon won't touch them.X(
He can have cat food instead of the plant material and vertebrates, as long as eit eats his share of those bugs!
