It is bullying because if you don't do as they say you get hit with a big punishment. That is you stand to miss out on 10% of Island funds. Ten percent of over one hundred millionfarm cash to complete the three tasks on an island is a whopping, great, enormous bully.
I trust that clarifies things for you.
I still don't see what the big deal is. But that is just me. And I still don't see how this is bullying. You aren't being forced to do it. I put this in the same classification as gold buying. If you buy gold you get benefits. If you participate in this friend thing you get benefits. If you choose not to participate it really is no different than before they added this friend feature. As for spamming, asking a friend to play this game and then sending them a link isn't spamming them.
If a game caused me this much distress I don't know why I would keep playing it? However, if you want to be upset about it then I will be the first person to say that is your right. And I will always say that you have the right to voice your displeasure. But I don't see how this is bullying at all so we will have to just agree to disagree on that.
I asked some of my friends before this update. They disliked the game. They all play some other games. Whats the next update? Add an advertisement banner on our farms. Give 10 gold for clicking on the link.
I just reached level 103, it's bee a long time since I bought mt very last plot of land but:
I still get these. So what exactly did GGS change?
You are right Mina, I levelled up yesterday and noticed no changes too.
If you're sending an e-mail to someone, to invite them, you should only have to click your "paste" icon and the link should copy directly into your e-mail.
I agree this is far worse then I expected (and I didn't expect a lot of good things) ; Now I will have the whole time 0 friends in my face. And I have a task that will never be completed! And I get a disadvantage in upcoming things! Way to go! **** ***
same here as i levelled today
btw there's a thread here:

if you need friends
Complaining is absolutely legitimate form of feedback to the service provider. That's one of the major means through which they learn how they are doing in terms of customer satisfaction. And this customer satisfaction has profound effect on the bottom line you mention. So sure there is a point to complaining.
With the rest you are right that there are other things to do if by whatever reason this game turns into something which no longer brings any satisfaction to us players.
request to join big farm that is why i dont play facebook games
Just want to reinforce this one. The game is picky about its language in terms of "Start Milk" (but not goat milk) etc. The language on this task should at least (if not removed) be precise.

It's really nothing more than a pyramid scheme with bribery added on to make it more interesting.
The fair seems like it's OK so far. One suggestion for it and all other events. Remove the "days left" tag and just have the actual hours on the tag instead. MUCH less confusion that way.
I think exactly the same! The fair event is great! And about inviting anyone: no way, I will not write to friends and family with a question: "hey, would you play this game?" If they wanted to play game I recommend they would ask me, otherwise I assume they are not interested in playing computer games or can easily find something nice IF NEEDED.
It's the same like in some shops and stores, I came to buy book and pen and they ask if I don't want to take also some sweets but why? I can easily find sweets if I wanted so why bother with this question... Yes, I think it can be called "spamming".
..
Helping a new player is something I would happily do though.
And one more time: the fair event is really nice!!!!
Right at the bottom it refers to "
I didn't get the email, even after checking because someone told me to when I made this comment earlier. But does seem to be headed that way.

You must tell to support about "family farming", 2 accounts in same server, house, computer.
I just did, when i invited my sister. Had a ticket and waiting for an answer now. But it should be okay
That's a nice point about those sweets. There's too much agresive and redundant marketing around.
