Well, anything with an internet connection and that are able to use a Flash plugin should be able to run the game. Or at least that's how I've come to understand it.
So unless the operating system on your tablet supports Flash you can't play Big Farm on it.. :(

Cheers Mina0o, I thought as much. I wondered though if anyone had found a 'workaround' that actually worked, although I guess that might be hoping for too much :(

This has been asked for by many players but as far as I know there's no talk about making an app since this is a flash game developed entirely for web browsers. In other words: computers..

It's far from ideal, and scrolling is particularly funky, but you can use a phone or tablet to play Big Farm but not using your device's native browser as it doesn't support Flash.

You need to install a browser app with Flash built in to it

    Android
I use Puffin on an android tablet (nexus 7) and android phone (nexus 5) to play Big Farm. The Photon Browser works too, but I prefer Puffin.

Both have free, ad supported versions, or inexpensive ad free ones

    iOS (iPhones or iPad)
iSwifter seems to be the favourite for iPad and iPhone but there are others too including an iOS version of Puffin

    Kindle
Kindles are Android based with their own proprietary variation. There was a version of Photon for Kindle but it was withdrawn. However there is this information on the Amazon Forums

When signing in from your phone or tablet, or any new or strange computer, you need to choose your correct server from the flag menu at the bottom of the log in screen

zombivarg, unfortunately, there is not a BF game for any phone. Best is for a table. As it is a web browser and Flash only game.
  • Please make an app or android app of Bigfarm. please please please. :) i want to make it quite handy so i can still monitor my farm while i'm away from my computer.

we have been discussing it with my cooperative mates.

i hope we would get response if there is any android app for this already. or apps for handy phones.

    God bless!
  • Photon browser supports flash games and is the only way to use BF on android at present. It is very slow but does work.

I think that there should be a mobile version of this game since most players would have a wider access then.
    good suggestion

nafaru did say they were looking into making one but you would need to have different farms on the different platforms. But since then she has said that even that has been set aside

    but you'r also not wrong

I love you guys for posting this!!!! I have been playing since August and just stumbled across this after a random search. I have been using Puffin on my iPad for the last two weeks and yeah the scrolling is a little wonky but I am so happy to not be attached by the hip to my PC that I do not even care!!!

Another upside, I love watching you tube and looking at photos online and the like, Puffin blows Safari out of the water with its browser speed for those kinds of uses, BONUS!!

Posters like you that help the less tech savvy, and I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Like iPads and Android tablets, Kindles do not natively support Flash which is necessary to play Big Farm. There are Flash enabled browsers that can be used with iPads and android tablets but Kindles have there own proprietary OS and the only Flash supporting browser I knew for it has been discontinued :(
I absolutely could not agree more with you and the others......... this is something we really want and that would help out those not able to get close to their PCs

Apart form the Photon Browser for iPad or android that I mentioned above you can also use the Puffin Browser on android devices and iSwifter on iPads
Puffin browser works good for me - for android. Gets a little stuck in the beginning. Begins to get faster in smtime. :)
  • Is there any way to play this game on a tablet or phone? It wont even let me play on my laptop!

You should be able to play BF on your laptop @FarmerSpongebob (US1) because I am able to when I want.

I did find this post for you, it may help.

  • Thanks that did help alot!
  • Yes puffin browser is great at this point if you want to collect and trasfer to bakery. It is little bit awkward to trasfer to market. I daily check the progress on this browser though my android phone.

Wow, I think that would be great to have Big Farm to run on the Kindle Fire...I know GGS has a Medieval Castle game for the androids as well as for the computers, so it seems that it should be no problem for them to configure Big Farm for the androids....hint, hint!  I spend a lot of waiting time at doctors offices (which have public Wi-Fi) and take my Kindle with me.  I do play around with other games, but it definitely would be great to be working my farm.  So I truly hope you will think about our request to have Big Farm on our androids.  Thank you!
  • I pretty much quit BF, never play it anymore but that could have brought me back a bit if... IF it was actually working.

First of all, can't even log into the game since BF on Android in Puffin does not "see" the login so the keyboard will not pop or even show which means no way to type AT ALL, no way to activate the virtual KB.  I do have a physical KB with my tablet but that takes away the "portable" aspect of games on Android, but yeah, if I put my physical KB I can type.  You guys gota fix this cause it's worthless to have a game tied to a "real keyboard" on android.

Other quirks, moving around (takes a while but eventually works), and again, typing ANYTHING at all, like say the amount you want to donate to the coop, no KB, thus no typing, at all.

So... it's about time you guys explore Android eventhough you guys are way late when it regards to that platform which is the actual future of so many games now but you need to push more work because as of now, it's clunky as heck.
  • Hey @Pooxy (US1) there is a keyboard icon located in the lower right corner of the screen, just tap that to bring up the keyboard. You can see more about it here:
