i loved interview with the vampire. Friday the 13th. nightmare on elm street. all the living dead movies. shaun of the dead. i know what you did last summer, scream movies. oh i just LOVE ALL HORROR MOVIES>. i guess i just love to be scared

Interview with a Vampire is great ! And the rest you mentioned. I know what you did last summer and the scream movies give me this 90s/2000s teen-horror movies feeling. Lovely entertainment. :D

We will watch Critters and Dead Silence tonight. ^^
And earlier we were playing two horror games actually. Silent Hill 3 and The Evil Within.
I don't know much about TV shows as I never watch TV. Just DVD's and Blurays.

If you have never seen the original twilight zones ie 1959, think of the night gallery version of it, also night stalker is awesome

I think I've only seen the movie from '83 with Dan Aykroyd and directed by wonderful Spielberg.

Hellraiser is a classic ! Gotta love Frank and his rough tone. 8)

I love TWD ! Well, I like any series that is rather serious than made for teenage girls.
But I have to say that I don't like the fact that the zombies are so easy to kill, with skulls like butter and yet, when they gnawl on someone they have superstrong teeth to pull out big pieces of human skin.
Plus you never hear them coming unless the camera angle turns and they stand right behind someone. XD

If you are talking the original yes.
The Johnny Deppy Remake was not even in the same class.
The original was a kind of Vampire soap opera.
go to youtube, look for "dark shadows the beginning recap"

    I don't watch the new horror films, as I think they're corny (just a lot of blood and guts make-up and special fx). The older shows were scarier because they played off of psychological fears and not just visual surprise. Fear is found in what we can't see or don't know; horror is when we discover a horrible truth about someone or some thing. Edgar Allen Poe did that with his stories as did Hitchcock with his movies. The original STEPFORD WIVES was actually quite freaky, down right horrible (without a "happy" ending). I have to say, I still get scared re-watching SIGNS (that clicking alien noise is so nerve-racking). I don't have to watch JAWS to be more scared of sharks! I mostly get scared with the thrillers involving creepy people chasing innocent people (they're out there....help!), like zombies or bean pod body-snatchers. I remember THE HAUNTING (Liam & CZ-J) as being scary. I remember GREMLINS as being horrific and scary, and corny. But the worst are from my childhood: THE SECRET OF THE RED ROOM RIDDLE and THERE ARE MONSTERS IN YOUR CLOSET. I finally stopped having those nightmares!!! (hopefully they won't return tonight, now that I was reminded.... <:{

Rosemarys baby.Great movie and offcorse: The shining with Jack Nicolson. Here is Johnny and the moment in the movie he kissed the beaty and after the kiss it was a granny with no teeths and acid marks on her back.Brilliant scene

Can`t beat a good horror flick, especially ones that make you think, like the SAW movies when they first started, would you cut off your own arm or kill another person to save your own life?
Love ones that have a good twist & lots of suspense. "Ringu" the original Japanese version of The Ring is a classic, far better than the remakes. I`m not so much into the bloodfest movies of how many mangled bodies you fit into 90 minutes, without much of a plot.
When it comes to real "horror", I would have to say the one movie I wish I had never seen & would love to erase from my brain totally, has to be The Human Centipede!

2 movies which are a must see and they have to be the originals and not sequals are The Exorcist, and The Omen which are both 70's movies, now I will admit that some sequals are good but they are probably the 2 greatest horror movies ever. Something in the exorcist they did which enhanced it was inserting pictures of scary photos into the movie such as witches.

Does the movie: "Never Cry Werewolf" count? I loved it. But then again I am not a movie expert. Still that would be my first ever watched horror movie.

I watched the original House on Haunted Hill when I was like ten and had nightmares for weeks. Anybody seen Cabin in the Woods? That was the latest "horror" movie to come out that I truly enjoyed. Talk about a plot twist!

Cabin in the Woods was fantastic, I totally agree :) Not a huge fan of Saw besides part 1, I liked the thriller part much more than the "horror"/torture part, and sadly the later parts focussed on that instead.

I also really like the whole 'Rose Red' thing by Stephen King, even if a lot of people dislike it ^^

have an account at netflix and occasionally watch new movies, I (very rarely) go out to movies about 2 times at the most per year and never have heard of it, was called AFTER, "some special effects" but a decent plot and some suspense, has anyone seen it?
