A wild guess from a country man. There will be stands where we can hire a place and start selling grilled corn with melted butter on itt.Or realy nice Apple-milkshakes, Cupcakes etc etc And ofcorse the anualy horsemarket were the profits will go to a charity. Maybe the WOF will be there also to make it possible we grab up some prizes. Lets wait and See

I am sorry for the people who suffered bugs and all.

I was lucky not to have them, and I really enjoyed hunting the Easter eggs! It was utterly frustrating at times, some were really well hidden, but it was great fun!

We know by now that GGS is horrible at keeping us curious! They told us about the horses early in 2014 and they didn't come in till late that year. They are mean like that :p

But after that long wait we've been slammed pretty hard with new stuff, Gwendolen! :p
I for one hope that the fair will include another item hunt. I loved finding those eggs!

Cakes to be produced from the bakery? Salads from the gardens? Goat's cheese from the milk? Preserves from the apricots? Spiced almonds? Wild mushrooms foraged from the orchards? Donkey rides? Tractors being fired up? Anything that makes the Gourmet Farm a little less dull?

Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it, GGS have really started to get it right with recent updates. Like Mina0o and nana28282 I really enjoyed the Easter Egg event.

    Regards, Smurf x

Country Fair event sounds suspiciously like a suggestion I once had... but can't for the life of me remember if I actually posted. Or if I posted it as a reply to another suggestion....

I have been thinking I read something about a county fair event before but I wasn't sure if I may have been thinking about something else. I'm going to do some searching on the forum & see what comes up. :)

    Edit: I found it! http://en.board.goodgamestudios.com/bigfarm/showthread.php?126895-New-Mini-Event-suggestion-The-County-Fair&highlight=county+fair

If GGS stays true to form, then it will be like all the other Islands, Temporary. Expensive and not for newbees... If they stay true to form.
I do not see it as a permenant farm addition...

Pretty much the definition of event... Island event, Hawaiian event, Easter event, Piggles Event, etc. :)

I think it will be something like the last Easter event. We'll get to hunt something around the edges of the farm while collecting something else from within the farm to attain a decor item or two, with the possibility of a few new decor items in the build menu. I don't expect any permanent addition to our farms (like a market or trading floor).

It would be nice to have a permanent Market, for some items, or even a way to make items with what we got, but that would be a whole change in the programing,,I would think,,,
But a permanent one would be a nice add on

Hi Victoria, there is a Bakery on the Gourmet Farm and a Shop in the Flower Farm where you can do just that once you level up. As for a permanent market, there's the Farm Management screen (notepad & pencil icon at the bottom of your screen) where you can buy and sell.

    Regards Smurf

You are not the only one waiting to hear back from support.

I wrote to them just after the Easter challenge finished & I'm still waiting.

Must have been a lot of problems this time around. Hopefully all who sent a message to support will get an answer soon.

I really enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs. It was something different and interesting as you had to really zoom in and look close at areas of the game you dont always see. More "hunts" like this would be fun. Maybe pumpkins, leprechauns, Christmas ornaments etc.
