Co-operative LEader unactive

the leader of our co-operative is not active is there any way a deputy can take his place.??

    Yes, but you have to be patient! After your leader has been inactive for 31 days, the game will automatically remove the existing leader from the post and appoint the longest serving deputy as a leader.

    I agree....Except that its 32 days & the highest ranking deputy, but close enough! :thumbsup:

    we had made temporary appointment because the cleader had left the coop. now the leader refuses to relinquish the post and is rubbing many senior members the wrong way.. what can be done..

    Sadly, nothing, once someone is the leader they make the rules, but having said that they won`t have much of a coop to lead if they drive all the members away..... You still have your power to walk away & join another coop. Maybe if you all stand together you can get your leader to see the need for "cooperation".

    I'm sorry to hear of your situation. Like Scissors says, you need to have a heart to heart talk with your leader and use persuasion for them to relenquish leadership if they are going to be inactive. Obviously this individual needs to be reminded that having an inactive leader is not in the best interest of the cooperative.

    Yes, as Co-Op Founder, I found I was unable to return leadership back to me. Which I feel is wrong. Why should I leave? I established the group.

    If the group agree with you then you could all move out and reform the co-op together; start the research from scratch again.
